A friend found this place with great reviews. Definitely well worth the trip. I’ve never had beans that tasted that good! I wasn’t expecting it. Also had their enchiladas plate…yummy, plus the portions were a good size. We couldn’t even finish the plates. Truly authentic and made with love (or mom’s best recipe)! We are just visiting the area, but I would definitely come back. Gracias for a good meal to remember.

Always great service. The quesadilla plate with fajita strips is the main thing I get here and I share it every time. Consistent food. Almost always busy. The only down side is the street musicians that come in and play for tips. I almost always want to pay them to stop so I can enjoy my lunch.

Their home made tortillas are the best, the menudo is perfect, the pozole well everything this particular restaurant really has the home made touch people look for. Food was different from other Mexican restaurants obviously and it was fine until there was hair in the food and realizing that they never gave me the right change so kind of sucks that they kept it knowing the right amount they were supposed to give me but that’s fine I guess if you need it you need it may not come back to this restaurant again but that’s fine

The food isn’t bad, reasonably priced, it feels like almost any normal taqueria, only problem is when I visited drive through and ordered a lemonade, I nearly finished it only to find a fly in the drink. I noticed when I was eating the ice, thankfully I did look or I would have been eating an insect sooner than later.

Out visiting corpus with my family and I have two picky eaters but my eldest commented so well for their food. Literally great food, we got tacos and enjoyed it. Staff, our waitress was amazing. I couldn’t catch her name as I was literally trying to eat with sleepy toddler in my arms. Pic was just my plate.

Food was ok but the staff is horrible they have a lady that cleans the restrooms and back area and she literally mopped around us hitting our chairs giving ugly faces to my family and she had our waiter come and ask if we would like to move to another table cause she wanted to clean our area. There was still about a half hour till closing time. I feel for her she really has issues and needs to lighten up she always looks mad very unapproachable. If you are waiting at a restaurant you have to have some kind of customer service skills we will probably not go back and we frequent that place but oh well
