This is a good place to get some good country cooking. I had chicken livers and grilled onions, fried squash, fried okra, and salad. I declined on a bread and I couldn’t eat everything. I was so full. It was really good, especially the chicken livers. I also got half unsweetened tea; which was also good. Our waitress was very attentive and very nice. I thought the prices were a little high $12.45 for the daily special, but it did include the drink. Everyone is too high these days. I would love to go back and try some of the other daily specials.

I was asked to meet at Rainbow restaurant for a real estate mastermind session. I had never heard of this restaurant before and was surprised to see how huge this place was. I would definitely classify this place servicing southern food. The service was amazing and the people working at this place were very warm. The food was good and the restaurant was clean. This place definitely is a senior favorite and it was pretty packed during lunch. I would visit this place again.

My family and I tried this restaurant first visit I was impressed dining I experience was pretty good. My kid teenager well not impressed. Decided to visit again maybe 2 weeks later this time to go order…why did I do that part of the order couldn’t even be placed because I was repeatedly told oh we don’t have that ok so I didn’t order half of what we needed..no problem I’ll just go somewhere else simple fix. The person taking the order seemed to be an older lady.

First time trying Rainbow Restaurant, and the food was okay! The service was impeccable. Everything was brought out hot and ready! I ordered a chicken salad, which the waitress told me all the dressings are made in-house. The thousand island was tasty. The appetizer was also really good.

The food is very good but they do not treat African Americans as well as the white customers. The waitresses I have had often ignored my needs and seldom came to my table to see what I needed. They only come to take my order, bring the food, and bring the check. I observed the waitresses were different with the whites. Always at their tables, always checking in to their needs and comforts. I have stopped going to Rainbows. Stopped spending my money were I am not wanted. Boycott is real.

My husband and I have been eating here at Rainbow for many years. My all time favorite dish is the grilled chicken salad with their home made French dressing served with warm pita bread and sweet tea. They know us when we walk through the door and they know what I’m ordering. ❤️

Rainbow is just a meat & three style restaurant that serves cafeteria food at a reasonable price. It’s been here for years. I got exactly what I expected going in. The liver & onions is good. The roast beef & gravy is good, too. Service was good and prompt.
