Foods are so delicious and their price is good and much less expensive compared to ones in tourist spot. Good staff. Their Tzatziki sauce was amazing ! Highly recommend. I will go back there again for this trip.

Where should we start. We are avid travellers and hate unauthentic, tourist traps. Let me tell you, this place is the complete opposite. If you are looking for an aesthetic instagramable dinner, this place is not it, if you want legitimate, traditional and authentic Greek food in a classic Greek restaurant, this is the place. The prices were extremely reasonable, the portions were massive and the food was fantastic and the atmosphere was very authentic, not showey!
We chose the NO. 1 meal which included: 2 LARGE lamb skewers, pita, fries, Greek salad as well as bread with tzatziki (best I’ve ever had, nice spice too which was unique) this entire meal I was quite full after and it was only 15€
My wife got the seafood pasta for 16€ and the sauce while basic, was very nice and tasty. But what stole the show is again, the portions. It was a large dish of pasta, LOADED with seafood. She said every single bite she was able to get some seafood mixed in.
We highly recommend this place and would consider going back.

We came here twice during our week long stay and got different food each time. But the top dish was the Sea Bass! Wow! Cooked perfectly. It usually comes with rice, but we were feeling fried. The place is so cute and on a really good food area where locals eat. Also, this place has the BEST tzatziki we found. Amazing!

This was my family’s best breakfast experiences ever, anywhere in the world! Lunches and dinners were equally magnificent. Large portions very inexpensive! I told the owner they should release their prices! We ate many meals here. I was a flight attendant and world traveler for 4 decades. I’ve eaten everywhere.
We met the owner, Olga, yesterday when we arrived in Athens to leave our baggage until our Airbnb was available to check in at 3 PM. They offer a service, Bounce, to hold your luggage & sightsee for the day. The restaurant is charming & the staff, including her son George/Yuros who helped with our bags, treat everyone like family. We knew we must return this morning. Today we were welcomed with familiarity, warmth & a hug as Olga watered the outside plants with a garden hose. The inside is welcoming with large open doors for the breeze to pass through. The soft gentle music was enjoyable in the background. The service was quick and the food delicious. It all looked so pretty & came rapidly. Each serving was bright and enticing, every bite delicious. We will be back tomorrow morning! You can feel the love & caring in this wonderful establishment!

When you walk into Il Greco you become family! Olga, her husband and son are amazing! The atmosphere is so relaxing. The food is divine! The Greek coffee is phenomenal! The homemade apricot jam will knock your socks off! We were in Athens for 4 days and we started each day here and then again in the afternoon for Ouzo and wine! It was sad leaving but at the same time we now have family in Athens!

We found this little local restaurant on the way to Acropolis. Ordered set menu for lunch and couple separate starters. Food was nice , just the octopus was super dry and chewy.
