Honestly, my wife and I found this place by accident and loved it.
The booths are pretty worn and need some repairs, but the food is delicious.
We started by ordering the AGUACHILES SINALOA, and they really didn’t disappoint. They have a distinctive and delicious flavor.
My wife ordered a CHAPUZON, and it has a deep garlic flavor that leaves her palate satisfied.
I ordered the OCTOPUS A LA DIABLA, and it was phenomenal, but the rice wasn’t the best in its class.
The drinks are very good; we ordered Margaritas and Mojitos!

Loved this place! Went on a Monday evening not crowded at all! But again it was a Monday evening! Their salsa was delicious chips didn’t taste home made but still ate em and they were still good with the salsa! We had the rompe crazones and the corrales enchiladas Rojas a little sweet taste but they were so good! The rompe crazones come with a buttered up bread which was delicious! The waiters there were very nice and efficient

Bathroom was one stall for each men and woman and they were clean
Parking was not hard but it is street parking so I bet if it’s crowded it might be hard to find

We were seated pretty quick but we did go an hour before closing so our order was taken quickly and with just a little time our food was brought to us. I had the fried fish it did not disappoint. Nice and crunchy, tasty meat that slipped right off the bone. The shrimp I didn’t order with it was added which was nice. The white rice and the shrimp added a delicious flavor. The other dishes looked and tasted very good. I’m not a fan of can soda drinks but that’s what they have. No raspberry iced tea. The milkshake drink has a smooth taste to it, if u get a chance try one. I would go back to try more things.

If you like waiting, this is the place for you. Food is brought fast, but it’ll be awhile before anyone comes to you to ask if anything is needed. I waited while for a server to come to my table, my food turned cold waiting for a sever to bring my hot sauce I requested to begin with when I ordered. I later ordered a michelada. It was never made, I looked at my bill and saw they sure charged it. Service is bad, food ok. Getting your food is fast

Food is like it came out of mi abuelas kitchen. Service is never too late, never rushing you neither. The atmosphere depends. Come on a Tuesday morning is dead. Come on a Saturday or Sunday you got mariachi taking a request per table. Drinks are potent!!

The food is delicious – the shrimp and octopus cooked to perfection smothered in a delicious spicy sauce that’s the right amount of kick. The salsa for the chips it’s a bit watery but the flavor is all at the bottom of the bowl with the pulp of the tomato and peppers.
Don Julio Cantarito Deluxe is 32 ounces of excellence. Only disappointment is they were out of the mint for a coconut mojito. I was looking forward to trying theirs. The small order of our meal came with generous slices of buttered . Though it’s their “small” order it was plenty filling for two.
The restaurant isn’t too big but they do have both booth and table seating. No wait time for a Thursday evening dinner.

Right down the street from us. Food has always been very good with large portions. The shrimp ceviche covered modelo is my favorite treat!

Great authentic Mexican restaurant in the Oak Park area. Good margaritas and HUGE food portions. Their complimentary chips and salsa included pickled veggies. I had a fish dish which was very filling and delicious. Can’t wait to go back and try other things. Their brunch looks good too.
