We were in Ada around lunchtime. We were just passing through, but some family had suggested we stop by Santa Fe for lunch. I was hungry enough to eat half a cow. I’m glad we stopped!

Hannah greeted us at the door and was super friendly and prompt. She ended up taking care of us for our entire visit. We all were seated and before we knew it, Hannah was bringing our drinks around with hot rolls and cinnamon butter! Have you had these?!?! AHHHMMMAAYYYYZZZZING!

We all ordered steaks. I took our servers recommendation and ordered the T-bone. How could I go wrong? A NY strip and a filet in one beautiful cut. I knew I didn’t want a salad, but noticed they had mushrooms. I asked if fried mushrooms were possible and was greeted with a twinkle of an eye and a “I can make that happen for you”!!

The food was amazing. The service was great. I left wanting to come back to this rustic stop on the Oklahoma prairie. You should stop in and ask for Hannah. She made our visit sparkle!

We are new to the area, and we stopped in after visiting the county fair.
It was busy, but there was a reasonable wait of about 15 minutes.
Once we were seated at the table, our server came with drinks quickly. He was very attentive during the entire visit.
Food portions were pretty large, and the food itself was very tasty. I really liked the onion rings. Those did not come out of a restaurant supply bag!
Food prices were reasonable also.
We were glad we stopped in!

We drove over thirty minutes yesterday to enjoy a meal. When we arrived there were 4 hostesses up front that told us that my family of 5 including a young child would have to sit at a high top by the bar because they cannot sit us in another section. The place was empty and we could visibly see one family eating in the section near the door . I can understand being short staffed but there was one family in a section and they could not handle one more? So we had to eat else wear as my family eating at the the bar was not the experience we were looking for. When we walked in we could instantly tell they did not want our service by their faces . I did speak to the manager , he was nice but we probably will not be back due to the staff.

Very nice restaurant next to the Hampton Inn, decided to eat in the bar (turns out to be a great choice), lots of locals frequenting here, the bartenders were awesome, had a great dinner and would definitely go back. Recommended!!

It was our first time in. Zeke was our server, he was absolutely amazing. Very patient, answered all our questions, very polite, great manners, and very knowledgeable about the menu options. We came in right before a rush too. He was seated a 13 top not long after we arrived, but he didn’t forget about us and checked in regularly. There were a few small hiccups with the meal, but nothing that ruined the experience of the first visit. We will definitely eat here again when we are back in town.

Fries, salad and rolls good. Everything else wasn’t good. I ordered the Sante Fe Chicken and the mushrooms were from a can you could tell by their look. That’s a huge negative for me. Also the chicken was dry. My Husband had the Ribeye Sandwich, he asked what came on it and she had no idea, she did say it should say in the menu… it came and the steak was half fat and came out tasteless. He asked for some kind sauce or mayo because it came out dry, she said we are out of mayo? She said we have chipotle mayo he said fine. She brings it back and also 3 pkg of mayo. This was our first time at this location and our last.

I am editing a review from a couple of years ago.. Stopped in today around noon on May 29, 2024..stood at the hostess stand for 5 minutes with no person to be seen.. Had to step outside for a few minutes to take a call and when I came back in still nobody there, but caught a person walking by and I asked to be seated. I ordered the chicken fried steak off the lunch menu. Rolls came quickly and were warm and fresh. Got a loaded baked potato and it was small and maybe had 2 or 3 crumbs of bacon and only a few small grated cheese pieces. The chicken fried steak was plenty large enough, but was so tough, I could barely cut it with the steak knife they provided. It was very dry and without the gravy, I don’t think I’d have been able to eat it. Nobody ever stopped by during my meal and asked if everything was OK or offered me more water. The server was polite and friendly, just not ever present. I’m sure there are items on the menu that are good and have had them before, but I’ll not make the mistake of ordering the CFS again. It was lunch time and the place was mostly empty, so apparently many have the same opinion of their food quality now.

It changed since the last time I went there and some of it not for the good. The menus were different but nice although no where on it did it mention that when you order the Philly cheese sandwich and ask for a salad as well that they will count the salad as your side and not give you fries. Fortunately I had a nice waiter who when asked about it, just went ahead and have my fries and well as the salad after I mentioned it to him. I was disappointed in the rolls expecting them to be round and fluffy with a lightly buttered coating along with the delicious, firm but spreadable honey butter. Instead, the rolls were a weird long shape and squished looking as well as extremely greasy on the outside so much so that I had to see for extra napkins which the waiter only have me 2 extra for myself and husband. The honey butter seem to be very melty almost like they are trying to cut back on the amount of butter that they use by diluting it somehow. The onion rings were wimpy, very thin, way too greasy, and there weren’t very many of them especially for the price. The dipping sauce was, however, very tasty. I would have to say the salad was the highlight of the night for me. Perfect! Lastly the Philly sandwich. It was pretty dry and hard to chew and even the him was hard to bite into so much so that even when I tried using my knife, it still has trouble cutting through it. I don’t know what kinds of changes have taken place recently, but I really was disappointed in the food which is sad because it was one of my favorite places to eat in Ada Oklahoma.

We had a rep order door dash for our medical office because there wasn’t time to pick it up. The whole experience was absolutely ridiculous. The food was thrown into containers, several items were missing, including the rolls, and the steak was so chewy, my dog probably wouldn’t even eat it. When the restaurant was called, the person who answered just said we’d have to go pick up the missing items. So tell me what the point of door dash was in the first place? That place is going down hill so fast, I would not recommend it to anyone.
