We were in Tucson recently and decided to try this place under recommendation I believe, idk i was just the driver. The place was decent, nothing fancy. We were a party of 4. It took about 5mins to be seated as there were others waiting to be seated as well. We got situated and it took a little bit as there was one person it seemed waiting on tables. I saw that our table was dirty with stains and asked for it to be wiped down. Our server was apologetic and prompt to wipe it down. From there we placed our order. We were given chips and salsa. Now idk peeps I mean our stuff was cold and maybe I was expecting more like fresh made??? It was cold out and I imagined the chips would be hot and fresh from the fryer. The salsa was meh at best. Our food arrived within 10 to 15mins. I ordered a steak with rice and beans and a flour tortilla. The steak was of decent size and the rest was acceptable. However I ordered med rare and it was slightly cooked more than I was expecting. It also came with a choice of options such as soups and such. I ordered the red menudo. the menudo was more hominy than a mix of trip and ingredients. Ok I suppose again it wasn’t what I was expecting . To be honest I wasn’t impressed.. we’ve gone to other places on a whim and I can remember the difference. This place to ME was ok and I’m giving it 4 stars because I was hungry and the family really seemed to enjoy it. We all took containers home with leftovers. Maybe it’ll taste better as breakfast or lunch tomorrow .

Service seems to be an issue, I ordered the Little México Combo but it took about 40 minutes to get it. The staff should’ve informed of the delay right away and not 30 minutes later. Food was great and that’s the only reason why I don’t give them a one-star. Portion sizes are quite large, enough to fill two average people. The place was packed so it must be an iconic local restaurant.

I have been to this location many times and the staff is always so very friendly and attentive.
The food was as usual, so very flavorful and the cinnamon tea is a staple for sure.
The only downside to the trip was the VERY long wait for one dish while everyone had already gotten their meals and basically finished… The was a first so we didn’t make a fuss.
All in all this is a great place, with delicious food and they’re rarley a packed house when we visit
*If you want a drink to-go you just order it that way initially because otherwise you’ll have to pay extra for a to-go drink*
They are very thorough with their with the cleaning if their tables and floors, cleaning product kinda filled the air.

It’s a nice place and lots of seating. The staff are really nice as well my only issue was the green corn tamales were under cooked which was a huge disappointment for me. I do like the chips and salsa which I am a huge fan of and they were delicious especiallythe salsa!! Prices are reasonable and Id go back to try something else since this was my first visit.

Best green carne con chile I’ve had in decades!!!!!!! Don’t pass this spot up. U can’t die before trying this. Coworkers loved their orders too(enchiladas n crispy tacos). Capirutada had good flavor but wayyyyyy too soggy.

Terrible terrible green Chile tamales ever! I had to cook them three times, yet so soggy! They must have used tamales into hot oil like they did with chips – not that crispy.
Wasted my money, over $20 for 4 small items.

Great sit down Mexican restaurant. Did the C8 combo – beef taco, cheese enchilada, beef tamale. Spreading the lettuce on top of enchilada ruins the beautiful sauce. Not a fan of the store bought taco shell but everything tasted great.

Wow the menu has been changing quite frequently something you had a month ago might not be there next month and prices also went up and quality down SMH service isn’t genuine it feels like role play and they quickly want to keep you moving… What happened to the days you can take your family to eat and enjoy conversation with them I looked over at another table that were served in nice drinking glasses when I got served they served me and my family in plastic cups I felt descriminated on‼️why couldn’t I be served in good dishes like all the other tabels were⁉️ not cool little Mexico ! From a very upset customer!! that was not treated equally and I am Mexican or shall I say Soy Chicana Mexican American

Decent little place. Food is better quality than you would find at your average fast Mexican food takeaway but that’s about it. If I was in the area and craving Mexican I might dine here, but I would not go out of my way to dine in. A little pricey and extremely limited vegetable options, I think I only counted 2 dishes. Just an average Mexican food restaurant.
