Nostalgic diner, portions were great, & service was too! My husband and son’s food was fine, I ordered the chicken parm, had the perfect cheese pull & everything… but the chicken was rock solid! I tried cutting down the middle and my fork went in the middle just fine but I couldn’t get the knife through 75% of the chicken breast. Wasn’t a service thing, just a kitchen thing…killed my appetite. Waitress was quick to address & it was taken off the bill. Also a 3% service charge if you use a card!!

Service was horrendous and everything looked like it needed to be cleaned and sanitized. I’ve eaten here before and it was decent, today I simply left when I was served a nasty looking salad after waiting far too long. Such a disappointing experience.

We were in the area from Florida and decided to try this place out, pulled in parking lot and a lot of cars in the lot always a great sign, went in they were to the main door waiting to be seated which didn’t take that long, sat down awesome waitress, we got burgers done exactly how we asked (hearth burger & mushroom Swiss) 2 for the crowds they had tables were being cleaned as soon as patrons left and filling them right back. Would definitely go back when in the area, thanks for the great service.

Awesome small diner with great prices and incredible food. They were super busy for Monday breakfast, so you the food has to be good. Easy to pass by, so look for the sign. We got the western omelet with hash browns and the banana pancakes with cream cheese sauce. Everything was absolutely delicious!

Usually when I go it’s always absolutely amazing, well I haven’t been there for a few months and tonight I went with a few friends and it was the absolute worst food ever. The waitress was absolutely amazing, the sweetest ever! But I had ordered eggs and they had came out raw so I asked to be cooked longer, which they came out and they were still not fully cooked and I had mentioned it but “that is how they are cooked” is what I got back from the cook. My potato’s were half done and half not done at all. My sister and I got similar things and hers was all perfect, so I’m wondering how all my food was disgusting. Plus, when I went to complain to the “manager” or whatever the lady was, first has the worst attitude ever, second she had me pay full price. Which I do understand since it had a bite or two out of it, but I had complained twice and only had a few bites out of it. I’m fairly surprised with the outcome.

Definitely not the same place since Kim is gone!!!! The so called manager Faith is a joke. Managers don’t sit at one of the booths and be on their phone the entire time.!!!! This place definitely needs to do a better job on who they choose to manage their dinning room. Kim would have never settled for this kind of behavior

This is an old school, family friendly place. They have updated jukebox type music selection consoles in the booths. The service was great and the plentiful staff seemed friendly with each other. My crab cakes and hubster’s burger were huge! The crab cakes weren’t made from real crab but I didn’t expect they would be for the price. If you like dessert, this is a place for you with a variety of cakes, pies, and cheesecakes. It has a small bar with the usual beers and wine plus cocktails. The menu is pretty extensive with seafood, steak, Italian, sandwiches and more. Looking forward to breakfast there soon. They seem to do a good take out business. Being close to our new home, I’m sure we’ll be back.

My son and I were looking for a diner in this area to have dinner. We looked on Google maps and found The Hearth Restaurant and decided to go. Everyone was friendly. Our dinner was delicious. We took dessert home it was good also. If you want a good meal, stop here.

The service from the moment we walked in was bad quality. We came in requesting a table for 10, and was told to give them a phone number that they can contact when there’s more space for our group. We saw multiple groups of 5+ people walking in for a table with no booking and we getting seated as we were waiting for the call and still received nothing. After eventually getting seated, our waiter gave bad low effort customer service, including not making sure we were okay through their long wait times for the food we were eventually able to order. After receiving the food some of the people in our party noticed they didn’t get their entire order and what they wanted.
We also had an incident where one of the people in our party told the waitress that their bacon was overcooked and burned, and as a result the waitress pulled the bacon off of his plate with her bare hands.
This is only a portion of what we experienced. I typically don’t do these reviews so hopefully this establishment can do better moving forward to keep preventing poor experiences and reactions
