Loved this spot! Casual & good! Staff is knowledgeable, courteous, down to earth. Great margaritas. And — it’s not on menu, but if you ask for a burrito ‘wet’ it will be slathered in delicious sauce. Prices were great, too! (Burritos are on menu, lol. Just not the wet option!)

Agave Restaurant is an incredible dining experience in St Pete Beach. The restaurant is in a great location to get in and out of, with parking everywhere.

The wait staff is courteous, attentive, and responsive which compliments the dining experience. The restaurant offers inside and patio dining.

Agave Restaurant is great for any sized group, whether you are alone, on a date, with family or a large group.

As for food options, Agave Restaurant has a nice selection of dining options worth taking the time to work through the menu with multiple visits. If you are looking for suggestions I would recommend the chili relleno or enchiladas As for drinks, there house margarita is worth a try.

Found this restaurant by accident, and we are so glad we did! Every single worker was so nice and on top of everything, Jeremy especially! This is our new favorite restaurant in Florida. We’re not local, but every time we come back, we will absolutely be coming here. Food, drinks, and service were 10/10!

We are originally from Texas and it’s hard to find an authentic Mexican restaurant in St. Pete Beach until we found Agave 10 years ago. The best margaritas on the planet made by Bre and Anna Karen! The food is amazing and love this family owned GEM!

Save yourself from VIP in Treasure Island it’s trash and run to Agave!

Very good. We went on a Saturday night. Everyone was happy with their food. We had the trio to start and the adults shared a pitcher of margaritas. Portions were pretty large. There are only a few spots of parking. It’s worth finding a spot!

We walked by this restaurant on our first night in the area and we decided to come here on the second night. We arrived around 5:30 pm and walked right in. But the king started to form right behind us. The drinks were delicious. Wife got the enchilada and daughter got the fish taco. Both said they were good. I wanted steak and shrimp so I’d ordered the fajitas combo with steak and shrimp for $28. Expecting lots of meat and Shrimp but what came out was lots of onions and veggies I was still hungry so had to order the dessert to fill up. The churros were good but better if you order the ice scream. Service was good for a busy restaurant. Keep your eyes out for the added tip within the receipt.

If you are looking for authentic Mexican food look no further. Agave was a nice surprise. The food was fresh and delicious. The margaritas were amazing…get the pitcher it is worth it!! All of the food was top notch. The fajitas were big enough to share. The trio appetizer is a MUST. Servers were attentive and friendly. We will definitely be going back here. Worth a trip from no matter how far.

We had a terrible experience here and want to warn others. We ordered two margaritas, and both had something floating in them that looked like mold. When we politely brought it to the bartender’s attention, she was rude and dismissive, insisting it couldn’t be true. After we scooped out the ice and showed her, she became defensive and sarcastically asked if we wanted to come behind the bar to check her ice bin.

We actually did — and sure enough, there was mold inside. Despite this, she didn’t offer to remake the drinks or apologize. When we asked for a refund for just the margaritas, she was confrontational again. The owner came out and was also rude and unprofessional, and after all that, only refunded $24.

We left feeling disgusted and disappointed. We had even tipped generously ($60 on a $107 tab) before this all happened, so the lack of accountability and customer care was shocking.

Save yourself the trouble — there are plenty of other places that serve good drinks and treat their customers with respect.

We were just there last night on Feb 20th around 8pm , sat at the bar – after sitting a few minutes- not sure if the 20 ish year old bartender could see us next to the post I waved at the her we would like two beers, she stared me down and waved at me angrily – we sat there in shock, and she said something under her breath . We got up and left , the manager followed us out apologizing profusely- if I’m the owner I would want to know this- check the camera and see what u think. Run don’t walk away from considering the Bar.
