I’ve gone to this place for a few years now and typically it is more entertaining with friendly or staff so this last trip I was very surprised when our chef seemed pretty rushed, and the portions of food were very small. Spend a little more money to get better quality and better entertainment is my suggestion.

An Amazing First Experience! Food and Service Were Top-Notch.

My visit to Ginza Japanese Steakhouse was absolutely incredible! The food was exceptional—fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared.

What truly made our night unforgettable was our server, Shawn. Since it was our first time dining here, he took the time to give us a very detailed introduction to the menu. He was patient, knowledgeable, and had a great passion for the food. He recommended a few sushi rolls for us to try, and they were absolutely delicious! We wouldn’t have known what to order without his guidance.

Shawn’s excellent service made us feel so welcome and ensured we had a perfect dining experience. We will definitely be coming back again soon. Highly recommend!

We had the best sushi tonight, I highly recommend Ginza. The Florida roll and the David Lowe were my favorite but all four were excellent.

I had never been to a hibachi grill before and kind of expected what I’d seen on TV. It was a little extra and actually quite fun. An interactive dinner with a bunch of people I don’t really know was made much more interesting. The kids I saw had a lot of fun trying to catch the pieces of food tossed to them as one of the tricks.

The restaurant itself is warm and inviting with a modern look, and pleasant lighting. You can tell it gets loud but it isn’t annoying. I could still hear my party members well enough.

The staff was nice and helpful. Our waiter was a bit rushed but it was a very large party. Even though I think it could have been a bit better, they were all nice and still got everything we had asked for. I definitely would like to go back again. If I had this much fun with strangers, imagine how much better it would be with people I like. Lol

My first visit to Ginza Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Bar, and I will be going back! We’ve eaten at many Japanese steakhouses over the years, looking for just the right one. We’ve finally found it. Food was great! Clean, friendly and great service. We ate Hibachi. The steak to my surprise was really tender (cooked just as I ordered), the scallops and shrimp were huge and everything was super tasty including the rice, noodles, veggies, soup & salad. Great variety of items with each meal. I don’t really eat sushi but I did see a lot of people there ordering and eating sushi and looked pleased with it. You should definitely give this one a try! I highly recommend them and wish I would have discovered them before now!

Beautiful decor, the lighting as you walk in is gorgeous. I came alone for the Hibachi & was sat with an absolutely adorable family. The entire dining experience was entertaining, and hilarious. From start to finish the chef was making jokes and keeping everyone on their toes with a saki gun, tossing veggies to us, and of course everyone’s favorite part- The fire! Super enjoyable dinner even without a party or group, this is an excellent place. Food was delicious, and they are not shy on the portions… Perfect leftovers!

This restaurant is over-the-top AMAZING!!! Gorgeous, creative lighting everywhere, enthusiastic, VERY good chefs, & efficient, friendly wait staff. Hunter was our hibachi table’s waiter. Both our young chef and Hunter did a great job taking care of our party of 7. In our group, 3 young boys (5, 7, & 9) experienced hibachi for the first time. It was thrilling to see their wide eyes and hear their squeals and explanations when the fire erupted! The chef tossed zucchini cubes for each of us to catch in our mouths. (We pretty much missed them all!) The boys REALLY liked it when the little fireman boy put out the fire.

And the food…!!!!! We think it’s probably one of the best hibachi meals we’ve ever eaten! Cooked to tender, delectable deliciousness, the fried rice, noodles, veggies, teriyaki chicken, & filet mignon were outstanding! The soup and salad before our hibachi food was also tasty. The soup was superior to any I’ve ever eaten at the many Japanese steakhouse I’ve tried.

I was in Daytona Beach visiting family, and I had found some restaurants I might want to try while in town. Ginza was on my list. We ended up here for dinner on a Saturday night, and I am sure glad we did! The restaurant was quite busy, but thankfully, we got seated right away before it got real crazy.

The restaurant has hibachi and sushi, but we were doing sushi that night. We started with the edamame and fried gyoza. All was great. The gyoza and the sauce it came with was so delicious I got an order to go. Also, usually gyoza comes with 5 dumplings which can be annoying when sharing, but theirs came with 6 and was very much appreciated!

My daughter got the California roll and loved it, and I can’t remember the name of the roll I got but WOW!! I looked online, but it’s not on the menu. They had this picture book and other rolls on another menu not reflected online. It had spicy tuna, cream cheese, and avocado, and light rice wrapped with the skinniest yet longest piece of tuna. I had mine made with soy paper, and in my opinion, it changes the taste in all rolls for the better. I have to say I think this is my most favorite roll I have ever had. There was a light wasabi sauce and maybe eel sauce under the roll on the plate. The presentation….. Show Stopper!!! It was an absolutely beautiful plate! I was so pleased.

Overall our service was good. It started off great, but then our waiter got sat three tables back to back after us (one of which was a party of 8) so he was quite busy. For that reason, we were never checked on to see if our food was good until we were done and our refills lacked, but the food made up for that. I could see what was going on so that did not affect my rating. I have no doubt things would’ve been different if all those tables weren’t sat back to back.

The ambience is beautiful and modern. There is this gorgeous light fixture that changes colors I could stare at from where I was sitting. I captured it in my favorite color pink. Love!! The attention to detail was in everything from the appearance inside to the plates we ordered.

I will definitely be back when I am in town! Oh how I miss Florida sushi!!!

The protein (ny strip/chicken)was good and plentiful for the money but the noodles looked like regular pasta – certainly not yakisoba and the fried rice was not really fried rice – far too much shoyu and just adding an egg does not equal fried rice especially when your cooking on a teppanyaki which produces excellent fried rice when done correctly (live Hawaii and eaten at many Japanese teppanyaki places so have a bit of knowledge).
The salmon bowl for our grandson was impressive.
Curry oddly enough comes with no rice.
Staff was friendly and courteous and checked frequently on our needs and responsive.
Coke was watered down too much as was the Arnold Palmer (couldn’t taste the tea, only juice)

For $400 expected much better
