Great place. It’s competitively priced with most specialty ice cream shops, but they have a covered patio with a little heater and even provide a comfy blanket to put over your lap while you enjoy your treats.

This is my favorite ice cream shop. Everything is so delicious and so many options/flavors to choose from. The ice cream cakes are so delicious and I love their Jimmies too. They’re like the old-fashioned kind (real chocolate) so I order a container when I’m here. Service is excellent. They’re open year round, too!

The quality of ice cream and waffle bowl at The Ice Cream Machine is unparalleled in this area. During our visit, the place was busy but we received service quickly when compared to the visiting volume. The staff was polite. Can’t wait to go back!

We just went to The Ice Cream Machine for hot cocoa and pictures with Santa. Our 5 & 6 yr old girls loved it! Everything was free! Santa was fun! Mrs. Clausemade sure everyone got a little bag and went down the line to get little trinkets like ink stamps, little flashlights that show a picture, slime. Little coloring book and crayons, then Oreo cookies. Golfiish, and lots of other little things. Then hot chocolate. Ice cream, and popcorn. There was also a craft table where they could color little wooden cut out ornaments with markers and attach a bell. ALL FREE! Their regular prices are very reasonable and they are open ALL year! My new favorite place!!

I stopped here for the first time today..my go to place closed down for the winter… I go everywhere for ice cream and honestly I really do know my ice cream ..there a couple of very good places …it came down to inside scoop in No,Kingstown…hands down I have them number one in the state!! I’ve had a few different flavors there but I mainly buy the bubble gum ! Creamy , flavor.even the gum is really good and doesn’t disintegrate… people think I’m crazy because of how much I buy and then when I let them taste it they can’t believe how good it is!!! Obviously they use all quality ingredients!! I bought a quart at the ice cream machine to see if I could get buy til they open back up but I was very disappointed…it was sweet Not creamy ..the gum just melted when you ate it and had a horrible aftertaste!! And the price of it was ridiculous! Highway robbery…I usually write good reports on food but not worth all that money!! Never go back!!

The portions are a good size. The flavors are good. The service from those taking/fulfilling orders is good.
I think there are things that should be looked at to improve, though. The lines, when long, go into the parking lot and right into/in-between people’s parking spaces. When we were last there we were between cars when one of the cars left and another pulled in. An attempt was made to mitigate the safety by calling for people to enter the store (where they have 1 register – the rest are windows outside) but this did not decrease the lines by much and blocking off those spaces would be the safer option (enough people already park across the street that losing a couple more parking spaces to make things safer wouldn’t make much of an impact on business).
The other thing I would suggest would be a queue line. It’s currently set up that each window has it’s own line and the lines of course move at different paces. A single line leading to the next available window might work better, especially if the previous suggestion is adopted.

Hiking a trail RIGHT ACROSS the street from here is forever in our favors! It’s probably not a great way to reward ourselves after a hike, but it was well worth it ahahaha! They sell fudge, cakes, and other sweets besides ice cream.
Also, there are no public restrooms here, but there are public restrooms across the street by the trail.

A must stop every time I’m in northern Rhode Island. Ice cream is smooth, creamy, and delicious, the only problem is the number of flavors to choose from! Come early as it’s gets very busy in the summer

Fun,delicious,everyone friendly spot across the street from a tennis court and walking paths. Ice cream was top 5 in rhode island. The customer service was superb the girls really did a great job. Bring a date/a friend/ the whole family.
