I don’t come here as often as I’d like, but every time I do, I really enjoy it. I love their gorditas packed lunch, it’s filling and super comforting. My favorite is anything with picadillo — they make it just right.
They also have this key lime-style dessert with cookies that’s so good. It’s light, creamy, and the kind of treat you don’t always expect but end up loving.
The pricing is very reasonable, the portions are great, and it always hits the spot. Definitely a place I keep in mind when I want something homemade and tasty.

Terrible experience. I used to go here regularly about a year ago, and everything was fine. Good even. I went today with my wife and ordered the “platillo de deshebrada en verde” and my wife ordered “tacos de barbacoa.” The deshebrada plate, which should have meat, was just a plate of potatoes in green sauce. I’m not exaggerating when I say that my plate had less than half an ounce of actual meat. The place gave us 1 tiny container of salsa for 4 tacos, and when we asked for more, they told us it was 1.50$ extra. I’ve never been to a place that was so stingy with something that should be free. My best guess is that now that they have expanded, gordibuena is cutting corners. Whatever the reason, I don’t see any reason to come back here, and I urge people to reconsider visiting this terrible stingy place.

The reason why the review I just realized y’all jacked up the price on Uber eats by 2 dollars .. a Ford pack is normally around 12 dollars on Uber eats it’s 14.65…. same withe everything else. That’s BS .

I consider myself a regular…but I believe if I ask for a Gorda or gordita I should get what I pay for. More than half it was just flour tortilla. I called and the answer was thats how we served them… how sad !!

The food is not bad. It’s Management that’s bad. When we placed our order today to go for my parents (order no 91) we waited for the food and then decided to order more and dine in (order no 94) while we waited management yelled at the busser/cook/helper in front of everyone that the trays were not cleaned. I just thought that was very unprofessional but decided to mind my business. After we ate our food we then left to take my parents food and dropped it off. Later my dad calls me super mad that the entire order was wrong so I decided to call management and Lilia ( mgr) was so unethical and unprofessional. I didn’t want to refund back and laughed at me when I told her she was unprofessional. I feel bad for the employees there and it’s such a shame that Management is the problem!

The food is good, but management is terrible. I called to place an order, they told me it was gonna be ready in 15, I came in after some time to ask about the status of the order and they told me the payment didn’t go through even though the charges appeared in my bank account and I gave the card number to the manager twice and still didn’t get it right, they made pay again even after mentioning that the payment is reflected in my account and not to mention the time wasted

Food is always delicious. Highly recommend the chile relleno burrito. Everything is always hot and has great taste. Environment is great always room to eat in and service also great. They will explain everything and are kind and courteous if you have any questions.
