Everything my husband and I ordered last night was some of the best food we’ve ever had. The sashimi was fresh, the handrolls exceptional, the skewers incredible. Wonderfully authentic japanese food. You are truly doing yourself a disservice by missing a dining experience here.

Pretty legit spectacular place that had seats strangely available where everywhere is effing crowded in Vegas. Authentic-ish dishes served in this joint that have menus in Japanese to enhance the experience of enjoying staple izakaya fare. The hot sake was on of the best, as were the things we ordered. I was a little overwhelmed w the garlic and spicy edamame. My tummy was craving the simple just salt I guess, lol. Presentation is pretty good here, and I ate to my hearts delight. The cute waitress who was totally Japanese that answered perfectly to my “お姉さんもう一本!” With the on point “はい！” brought back memories of when I used to work at つぼ八 back in the late 80s when I was a ツッパリteenager. 100000000000000/10 it was super nostalgic coming back to this restaurant after 10+ years. My family and i would eat here often when I was younger. The food quality has remained fresh, delicious, and flavorful after all these years. Serving size and portions are generous. All food items on the menu hit the spot so good i could cry. I love this place and my family and i love the owner (who may not even remember us anymore, but we thank him for hosting us and taking care of this beautiful establishment that holds memories dear to me. My love for japanese cuisine started here and ill always reminisce how my family and i shared our enjoyment over the meals served here)

I’ve been here before but took a friend as I hadn’t been here in awhile. I also enjoy the atmosphere but most of all how friendly and ontop the entire staff is. The energy here is also very inviting and warm; its clean as well. If you like to chat, feel free to sit at the sushi bar and do so with any of the chefs. The food and drink all taste fresh. The prices are also not pricey for what you’d find on the strip, for quality food and a dining experience. It is a tiny resturant so it’s a bit up in the air on if the place is packed when you arrive as they are only open for dinner. But it reminds me of when I had visited Japan and dined in a few of the restaurants there. I can’t wait to come back again this month, so I can finally get that giant Honey Toast desert I couldn’t tackle.
