They need to stop misleading customers into thinking they can substitute the drink for a “Dirty” one when getting the Yummy deal. You’ll end up being charged full price for the Dirty drink — and the soft drink that’s supposed to come with the deal never arrives. They may mention a small upgrade fee, but that’s simply not accurate. They all say the same thing, yet the charge is $4.99, which is the full price. And if you’re charging full price for the Dirty drink, then you need to bring the drink that actually comes with the deal.
See the attached check: even after they corrected the wrong prices, you can still see that the two “upgrade” drinks for our BYD were not upgrades at all — they were charged separately. And again, the sodas included with the deal were never brought.
You might think this is just a simple mistake, but it happens every single time. There’s definitely something shady going on.
What really stood out was her positive attitude and how she made the whole experience feel personal and enjoyable. You can tell she truly cares about her customers and takes pride in her work. We were so impressed that we even made sure to tell the manager how amazing she is.
Thank you, Mimi, for such outstanding service!
Red Robin is known for the great tasting burgers and the bottomless sides and the flavors on this visit did not disappoint. It was a very rainy evening with few diners and we were seated immediately. Our drink order was taken quickly and drinks soon arrived. Fountain soda ($3.79) and a 22 ounce Sam Adams Oktoberfest bier ($9.50). What made the visit even better was my birthday reward which is a free burger. The reward applies to any of their burgers, not just their lowest price menu item which is nice. I selected the Mad Love Burger which normally sells for $18.19, including a bottomless side. The burger is monstrous with 2 types of cheese, bacon, avocado and more. Spectacular! I had their steak fries which are always great. My wife had the A1 Steakhouse Burger ($17.99). Bacon, mushrooms, cheese and more on this gourmet burger. Yummm! She opted for the bottomless side salad. A note on the bottomless sides. Only a few are included with the price of the burger. The other sides are considered ‘premium’ and have a $2.99 up-charge, but are still bottomless. We have eaten at Red Robin several times and have yet to order more sides after the first round. They give you plenty right up front. Now for the BUT… AND THIS IS WHY I KNOCK OFF 1 STAR – We have consistently experienced ice cold air temperatures at Red Robins both in Illinois and Florida and have complained each time. Fortunately, we keep extra clothes in the car just in case of situations like this and that makes the visit tolerable. Unfortunately, our food is cold before we’re done eating and while a burger may still taste OK, fries are awful when cold. This visit will probably be our last to Red Robin as we were hypothermic when we left. We also ate in record time which is not normal for us. So if you go, wear long johns or have a down coat. Maybe we’ll find a Red Robin with outdoor seating.
We tried the Whiskey River BBQ Burger, Bacon Cheese Burger & the Blue Ribbon Burger. All three were GREAT. Just what we each had in mind and hit the spot, 100%!
PERFECT COOKED, GREAT TEXTURE & TASTE. Just what we wanted for toppings and a great bunch of french fries. We were very happy with Red Robin. Did I read they have unlimited fries? Hmmmmm.
All there is left to say is Yummmmm!

Red Robin never disappoints! The burgers were cooked to perfection—juicy, flavorful, and exactly how we ordered them. Service was attentive and friendly without being overbearing, and our food came out fast and hot.
The pricing is very affordable for the quality you get, and the wide variety on the menu means there’s something for everyone. Honestly, the burgers were just as good as many of the best local mom-and-pop burger joints.
Great food, great service, great value. We’ll definitely be back!
The place is as I remember it. We went in for lunch were seated in very short order and our server a young woman who’s name I unfortunately I can’t remember attended to us promptly and courteously. We shared an appetizer of onion rings (Yum!) and we both had burgers as our mains. Our meals were presented promptly and were quite hot when served. Both were cooked the way we ordered. Having said that, I’ve never had to eat a hamburger with a knife and fork before. The portion size was generous but as a consequence of the amount of topping on my mushroom and swiss burger, it literally fell apart when I tried to pick it up. This is the reason for the four star rating of the food.
The taste of the burger was very good. My wife said her burger was very good and she had no problem with hers. The fries we had with the meal were quite good. Although there are free refills with certain side orders, we didn’t partake as they’d have needed to roll me out of the place. Neither of us had any room for dessert.
The overall appearance and cleanliness of the restaurant was quite good, including the washrooms.
I can’t recall the total of our bill but including gratuity, the cost was quite reasonable. The unfortunate thing for us is that the nearest Red Robin to us is a 2.5 hour drive and it requires crossing the Canada / U.S. border. With border restrictions what they are, unfortunately a quick road trip into New York state for a Red Robin fix is prohibitive. Having said that, we’ll be back to any Red Robin the next opportunity we have.
Also ordered an Oreo shake.
Everything tasted great but our server not attentive for being very slow in the restaurant. Also my husband’s burger they forgot the egg (she did not return until we were finished and by then we were not going to complain since he ate most of the burger), my shake didn’t come the way the photo or description mentioned. But we still enjoyed the food and would be back. Everything was cooked great and food came out fast.
