This place feels much more suited for tourists and a one-time visit. The staff are genuinely friendly and helpful, which is the highlight of the experience. However, for a restaurant that specialises in meat, we expected far more in terms of flavour and execution.
The wine list is acceptable, but nothing particularly memorable.
What truly ruined the evening were the tables — they are placed incredibly close to one another, making it impossible to sit comfortably or have a proper conversation.
It’s disappointing that we couldn’t enjoy the evening the way we had hoped.

A wonderful dinner at Clover Grill, deservedly part of the World’s 101 Best Steakhouses.

I started with the Terrine de foie gras de canard des Landes grillé, which was rich, smooth, and beautifully prepared. For the main course, the Filet de bœuf with sauce Béarnaise was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, accompanied by crispy pommes allumettes and épinards au beurre noisette… classic sides done just right.

To finish, the Ananas à la broche Vanille Piment with citronnelle ice cream was both refreshing and surprising, a perfect ending to the meal.

Lovely dinner, friendly service, and an atmosphere that makes you want to return. A great Paris address for steak lovers.

The restaurant is very nice and the service is good. However it is very expensive compared to what you would expect in other restaurants. I know that the chef is renowned but it was still very expensive for relatively small portions.
What was the most astonishing for me was the price of the deserts. Not a single one of them was below the 20$ mark and the clients seating next to our table ordered churros for 20 euros and received only TWO small size churros with some chocolate sauce. Considering that the price to make those must me in the range of 20-50 cents in raw material I thought it showed pretty well the philosophy of this restaurant.

Very solid dining experience. Having said that, the steak was good but not superb. For the price, I have had better steak. But..the food was good. The appetizer, sides and dessert were all top notch. The service was great. And it’s a comfortable place to have dinner. The price it just a little much for what you get.

Clover Grill is a restaurant in Paris that specializes in grilled meat. The place has a colorful wall with paintings and an open kitchen at the back. There is also a large aging cabinet with different cuts of meat, which are aging. The wine list is extensive and offers a variety of choices. I ordered the bavette as the main course, which came with a small portion of bearnaise sauce that I had to share. The meat was tender and juicy. The price was quite high for what I got, and I did not feel very impressed by the experience. The service was friendly and welcoming, though.

Totally overrated by TimeOut. Zero atmosphere, food ok but pomme frites really a disappointment. My local bistro does a much better job for half the price and my butcher has a far superior poulet rôti — which turned out to be rechauffé. The restaurant was probably created to draw on all the tourist in the area ready to unload a ton of dollars on a steak frites experience.

Look I am going to be honest here, I never rate a restaurant based on price quality ratio and usually try to objectively assess the food. But when you are paying 300 EUR for a kg of meat, oh boy I am setting my expectations way too high. Annnnnnnd it was disappointing. The meat was good but I cook it better at home. Pooy seasoned and both the simmental and the cricketton lacked the oumph of dry aging. They were not bad just good pieces of meat for which I payed five times the price I would have paid to cook them better at home. The place is super nice though and the service was friendly although some of the sides arrived 30 mins late it was an honest mistake. Weirdly enough the cheese I took as a dessert was the highlight of the night! Unexpected 😀

To be honest, I would not recommend the restaurant based on its price to quality ratio. You can find better meat elsewhere.

Great place to have very good steak in Paris. You will need a dinner reservation. The appetizers were delicious and so were the sides. A steak comes with two sides. Food is beautifully arranged. The tables are Paris sized small and a bit of organizing is necessary to get all the plates and glasses not to be in each others way. But it is possible. Amazing mashed potatoes and meat. If you are American and want to enjoy a medium rare steak order it medium otherwise it might be a bit more rare than what you expected. Staff will be helpful with explaining the menu since it’s only available in french

What a gem . The dinner we enjoyed in Clover Grill was one of the most enjoyable meals we had in Paris .
The starter was a bang up Bone Marrow served with warm delicious bread .
We followed it with a steak for two that was cooked to perfection, both of us are fanatical about steaks , it couldn’t have been better.
Cocktails were excellent as well .
Our next trip to Paris will definitely include a meal at Clover Grill .
Staff is friendly and welcoming.
