City Dogs is a family owned and operated business. We began this restaurant in 2008 and have been going strong ever since. We serve 15 different hotdog styles, 80/20 Beef from Lynchburg VA in our burgers, and other delicious sandwiches. There is always a new food special to come try out. We have a full bar and rotating beers on tap. We also have Trivia every Wednesday Night.

Was all around very impressed. Love hot dogs and they have almost limitless options. Our waitress was a sweet as it gets and the whole restaurant is set up for a good time. They even have a smoking/vaping patio so you don’t have to stand on the sidewalk. Definitely a younger crowd but very welcoming. They were even doing a trivia game. Would highly recommend.

I love this place, literally ate 4 hot dogs and onion rings it was so good. The only thing was the server was good but I felt she could’ve been a little more attentive (it wasn’t that busy)

This tiny joint is worth its weight in gold! Lee and Sky provided amazing service, Lee was personable and recommended his favorite dogs and his recommendation of the dog of the month did not disappoint !! Oh man, I wish I would’ve taken pictures ! The atmosphere was welcoming, and the Music was not only nostalgic, but A fantastic playlist for any beat head. We found our new favorite spot. The only thing that would make this place better is if they allowed dogs! I wish I had the hindsight to take pictures, but the dogs looked so delicious. We could not wait to dig in. Next time we will attach pictures.

Staff is always nice, usually pretty girls working the bar and they are friendly. They have the Vienna beef beef franks which have that just right snap and you can get a NY style Sabretts. Great stop thru for a beer on a nice day, quality dive vibe and pricing. Random hot dog pictured…

Nice hole in the corner spot in downtown Richmond. Took the wife and kids. They have a kids menu and good drinks. I tried the Spring Lemon Lavender cocktail and it was tasty. Lots of TVs to keep you entertained. Service was great got helped right away. We had the Tennessee slaw dog, Honolulu dog and the original Chicago classic dog all were great and very affordable.

Hot dogs are so delicious and as it turns out, they have my all-time onion rings, crispy with a smooth coating. The sauce they serve with them accentuates them perfectly.

I’ve always craved a good dog from time to time and use to travel for years from the south side over to MCV to the hot dog cart just to get me about 3 loaded dogs,the yesterday it hit me the cravings are back but couldn’t find anymore hot dog stands so I googled Hot dogs near me and low and behold I was only 5 minutes away on main Street. I go in and ordered 2 of the best dogs I’d ever had, I mean everything about these dogs were top notch hints why I will be at the door as soon as they open today.

This is more than a restaurant…it’s a bar for locals and carries that genuine atmosphere. I dropped my dogs off after our walk so I could try it out before my wife got back in town and lived it. Ordered Cinci and Coney Island hot dogs…both spectacular. Great servive, vibe, all of it. Cute patio you can get to after you go inside. I’ll be back.

Fast friendly service. Atmosphere was typical of a bar/restaurant with table and bar service. I only purchased 2 all beef hotdogs with chili and mustard. I did not enjoy the hotdogs enough to even eat the second one. Just was not good IMO.

Interesting selection of hot dogs for 3.99 ea, but I could not find one plain enough for this picky eater, so I ordered a grilled cheese. Hot dogs don’t automatically come with a side but everything else does. I got fries and there were plenty to share with my companion who ordered a hot dog. Standard sports bar atmosphere with lots of TVs.
