Went to Chipotle in University Park off of Lincoln highway.. Very clean,well lit plenty of parking. Customer service was excellent.l let the guy know that it was my first time there,and he walked me through everything to help me out.Great work. The food was delicious.I had the pull pork with corn , guacamole, black beans , lettuce, green pepper and onion.cheese & brown rice rice… Incredible.

I give credit when due, and baby yesterday it was due!! I have eaten at this Chipotle since a teen when they first opened, but moved away and haven’t visited in years. I was skeptical after seeing mixed reviews as of late, but I’m a see for myself kind of person. A lot of locations truly don’t get it right.. but as you can see from the attached photos, they paid attention to detail and execution was perfect. To start, when I walked in the place was calm and clean. I was greeted immediately by the young black woman at the kiosk and asked if I had a pickup order. My food was ready at the time stated and still very warm & fresh. Then, the food.. as you can see was perfect. I got extras (see ticket) and they actually put extra everything as requested. Most places don’t give me extra lettuce and it makes me upset lol, but I have no complaints here. My only grimace was my drink. I got sprite and the beverage needed to be changed out because I tasted straight seltzer water. However, I won’t dock any points because it was a free drink courtesy of Chipotle anyway (and I took it as I don’t need the pop!). However, this bowl was worth $20. It was tasty, plentiful, and fresh. I ate 2 times from this bowl. So, needless to say, I’ll be back!

This location is EXTREMELY slow, unprofessional, and disorganized. They have too many employees doing absolutely nothing (mopping the floor, walking back and forth, etc.) instead of waiting on the few customers standing in line while I was there. I usually go to Roti or Cava when I want something quick and fresh with great customer service. Chipotle has adequate food but does not hire the right employees to deliver their brand. I came to visit on a normal Wednesday afternoon.

Almost every time I come here I have to wait 10 min for my steak, it’s not that hard to keep up on your food, her explanation was “we make it as needed”, that is unacceptable, I’ve come here 3 times this week in hopes that it would be better each time but no, had to wait for them to make the steak every time. She gave the alternative of carne asada and didn’t even offer to give me the steak price for it.So deliberately up charging because you’re out of something. At least after I waited a while they offered me a free drink, but not the other two times I waited. Don’t come here unless you want to wait for your food.

I just ordered this evening from this location through Uber and there was a big piece of plastic in the middle of my food. Then as I kept going through it, there was another piece of plastic. Not to mention we paid for queso, and they decided to put shredded cheese on my order. Totally unacceptable!

this is it for me, i will NEVER order anything from this Matteson Chipotle location. They always give undercooked rice, and this time, I walked inside, nobody was wearing hair nets, no one’s hair was tied up. First red flag. Then i get my bowl and as im about to eat it I see that i have DIRTY LETTUCE. YES, UNWASHED DIRTY LETTUCE. SECOND RED FLAG. My bowl was ridden with dirty lettuce, not just one piece, but 95% of the lettuce was not clean. This made me sick to my stomach, and I hope this location gets shut down.

I found a piece of hair in my food, which is extremely unsanitary and honestly very disgusting. This completely ruined my appetite and experience. Food safety and cleanliness should always be a top priority. You all have to do better.
