I was excited to try to cauliflower wings because the sauce sounded great but they came with no sauce just completely plain fried cauliflower. i ordered pick up and when i got there the door was locked. I tried going to the other side and they told me to go to the door i just tried because that’s where food orders are picked up. I tried calling the store multiple times and there was no answer. It wasn’t until someone noticed me in the window then they opened the door all confused and said after 11 to go to the bar. He gave me my order but seemed annoyed and said next time go to the other side after 11. But the bar in the other door was packed and they told me to go to the other side! I’ll avoid this place from now on, what a nightmare.

The service was amazing! The food was delicious, I recommend the cauliflower or wonton nachos as starter. Everyone was pleased with their mains and buttermilk chicken thigh sandwich was deadly. Fun selection of drinks that tasted really good. The ambiance was unique but still cozy feeling and the restaurant was tastefully decorated for the holiday season. We drove from Oakville to meet friends and we will be returning. Highly recommend!!

We had such a wonderful visit at White Rabbit! I ordered the mussels in red Thai curry and had it as my main dish with extra bread. They were so generous — they actually brought me lots of warm, delicious bread, which made the dish even better.
My partner had the steak frites and absolutely loved it. We also shared the calamari to start, and we kept trying to figure out what exactly was in that amazing sauce — it was that good!
The drinks were fantastic as well. I have to say, I probably had the best margarita I’ve had in years… maybe even since my last trip to Mexico.
It was our first time there, and I honestly don’t know how we’ve missed this place, considering we live in Waterloo. We’ll definitely be going back. And as a lovely bonus, they also have live music!
Highly recommend White Rabbit for a great night out.

The vibe, the drinks, the food. Delish.
I ordered the focaccia to start with honey butter – I will be dreaming of this bread. And then gnocchi for my main, so fluffy and incredible. I also had the blueberry mocktail, which was sooooo tasty.

Amazing food. Upscale pub style; the cauliflower “wings” were so delicious. Everyone at the table raved about them. The duck spring rolls were delicious. The pork belly and fish tacos were also excellent. Great drinks, great service.

Exceptional service !! Drinks were complex and delicious -I’d recommend The Mort. Food was great – I’d recommend the wonton nachos. The short rib is melt in your mouth, but more sweet potato puree would be even better. 100% check it out!

Went with some friends and I’ve got to say it’s a solid restaurant/pub. The food was tasty, priced fairly, and pretty fast service. I got the tandoori chicken bowl, while my friends got the pork and olive dip. The olive dip and chicken bowl were amazing and really tasty. I didn’t have the pork belly myself but was told it was really dry, so maybe avoid that option. As for drinks they’re on the pricey side so do be aware of that. It’s a great location in the downtown area and a lot to do after. I definitely recommend this spot!

Great choice of food and cocktails served. Little pub down the uptown area. Cauliflower wings are best. Read so many reviews about tacos. Ordered sam adam cod and jerk tofu both were super tasty. Service is quick and servers are very welcoming and friendly. Would say 10/10 for everything.

Enjoyed a nice dinner at White Rabbit in March 2025. It’s a short walk from the parking lot at the town square. Decor is quite tasteful and the atmosphere on a Sunday was enjoyable – had two Springsteen and two CCR songs in the rotation during the hour we were there, liked it!
Food was quite delicious – we had the brussel sprouts to start and the short rib and scallop/pork belly plates for the main. The server explained they were going for a tapas approach with the menu and the entrees did feel a bit small. In retrospect I definitely would have ordered something in addition to the short rib; alone it was not enough and the sweet potato mash felt more like a sauce then a side. Nonetheless delicious.
Not sure I would return for dinner but the drink menu looked quite interesting – could definitely see returning for cocktails.
