I pay get the food and open the boxes at the car to make sure everything looks OK. On the top it does. But after I make the long drive home and open the box I realize the bottom tortilla of our quesadilla is completely missing. There is a tortilla on the top that looks nice and pretty and then underneath it is just all of the filling stuck to wax paper, all very very greasy. At this time, I was not able to call them, and drive back into town. Luckily my son’s pizza was right.
We used to eat here all the time, but won’t be anymore if this is the food they send out!
We had to wait on drinks, to the point WE went to the bar and just started ordering our own drinks because it would take 20 minutes. That’s not an exaggeration. We could literally see our drinks done & waiting on the bar pick up area for 20 minutes. Luke warm beer by the time we got it.
When we did get the pizzas, some were cold, some were hot. One pizza came out extremely Hot. We unfortunately served the extremely Hot pizza with the pie spatula to our 4yo old. She drop it in her lap because it was too hot, and burn her- through her pants. We had to strip her down quick, she was embarrassed. She did not blister or anything crazy but it was beat red for a long time. It’s not anyones fault, but a heads up that it had just came out of the oven would have saved us a lot of pain, tears, and embarrassment.
The hot ones were good, the cold ones had good flavor and they were really good when we finally go home & warmed up.
We had to constantly re-asking for stuff, silverware, napkins, refills, sauces. Like we would ask, he would forget, we would have to re-ask, 3 or 4 times for each request. We also tried to get an extra pizza to go, but he never put it in. So we left without it.
If you go here, the food is good. Check the pie temp before feed to littles. If you get the same server just turn into a parrot!
Great food, get service. Isn’t that we are all looking for when we have a night out!
Would definitely eat there again.
So, as usual the service was super slow for us. 30+ minutes from order of app and pizza to delivery of appetizer. Then the pizza and check were delivered in 13 minutes. So, this time it was we forgot about you, then hurry and get out. I left the normal 18-ish% tip.
The food was a 7.2, service 2.5.
My rating: 6.4
Brick Oven Pizza company, plus Brick & Forge Brewery. A 2-fer, first time ever. I’ll start with the beer, that picture of a beer is the “Dirty Sally” kind of awesome American Brown Ale. She is a Dirty girl and I kinda like it. then we had the Bruschetta, it was very good as well. We tried two pizzas, 10 inch Big Italian, and the Margarita. No flop what so ever. Lots of crunch. And all homemade. The atmosphere you can see and feel. Excellent. We sat in the bar area in a booth. As a norm that will cause you to get better service of beer. They had just the bar tender working the bar, the peewee football team outside, the full outdoor seating, the bar area and the back room. This guy was keeping up, but he was one bad play call away from the enter defense breaking a leg. I’m just saying he needed a bar back. Really like this joint. 2 tall beers, a coke, the large appetizer, 2 x 10 inch pizzas- 58$. A great deal. This place has all the check marks. My rating: 7.5 that is a great rating. 2.5 points or 25% above average. #brickovenpizza #eatlocal #eatharrisonar #localfood #localbeer #brick&forge #drinklocal #harrisonarkansas #localbrew #localbrewery
