The wife and I did the 2 course for $30 which is a pretty good deal. The salad, soup, and chicken enchiladas were good. The cannelloni however was too sweet to my liking.
The soup I got was the chicken tortilla, it was hot with plentiful amount of chicken.
They were incredibly personable, attentive, and made sure to really listen when I shared my allergies. That meant so much to me. It’s not always easy going somewhere new and feeling confident about what you’re ordering, but they made it seamless and stress-free.
Their energy, professionalism, and attention to detail made my first visit memorable. I’ll definitely be back. Thank you, Tik and Alexis, for such a great night!
We ordered 2 drinks, the trio chips appetizer, and 2 entrées (considering how much time it took for us to get those, I ordered the dessert to go which was good because there was about 15 mins to closing about the time we finished our entrées) The drinks weren’t very good. We ordered a blackberry margaritas and a poloma( my usual) but they were both sour which is weird for those drinks, We weren’t asked what to rim it with….. and so they weren’t rimmed…
My bf told me to stay positive so I didn’t complain, hoping it would get better. It in fact did not. From the drinks and appetizer to the meal was maybe 40 mins,( for reference this is 55 mins into us being there… so far) in that time both the table in front and behind us had gotten their meals and we had actually seen the previous patrons from both tables leaving, which was about 15 mins after us ordering drinks. So they seemingly had time to bus tables, clean tables, seat new patrons, and start taking orders from those tables but we have barely gotten our appetizer and drinks. The table to the left of us(not one of the 2 tables) was complaining about, when their food was coming out, while we were on our 2nd bowl of chips (still waiting for our entrée). We ate a bit of our meal but had filled up on water, the drinks and appetizer (I was ravenous, and we were still waiting and waiting and waiting) for the meal, as we didn’t get our actual entrées until nearly an hour after being seated(about 55mins). Our reservations were a 6:30 and we a left little before 8 (mostly because we’d already ordered and I had wanted to enjoy my birthday dinner).
I have an extreme love for dessert but even I wasn’t waiting to eat that so I asked for it to go. They made sure to bring us the boxes and check very quickly though…. (I honestly still consider a tip as part of the service, so in this case I normally would have tipped 15% for the service I received, but as it was a birthday meal my bf paid, but understand it part of people’s livelihood,[it shouldn’t be and shouldn’t be on the partons to give the wait staff on a livable wage, it should be one the owners…but let me get off my soapbox] (12-25% depending on the service ( terrible to extraordinary)).
As it was a birthday meal with just me and my bf I definitely dont think it should have took so long. Both the groups who came after us had at least 3 in their parties. We did order drinks and an appetizer, but I think most people do at restaurant and why should you be penilized for spending MORE money at an establishment? I’m overall disappointed considering how great the service was prior.
!!!EDIT!!!
I contacted them through the email they sent, over 2 weeks ago and they NEVER respoded. I added the email I snent to the pictures as you can see I sent this on 11/05, and there was no response. Which was just add insult to injury.
It’s also a fish or meat market FYI.
with a minor setback. The atmosphere is very classy but casual with an outdoor (covered/temp controlled) area and indoor seating. The service was solid very knowledgeable and kind staff only minor setback was they never refilled my water once and I started drinking my lady’s water which never got refilled. Now to the main event the FOOD, the server recommended the BBQ ribs and fried chicken with waffle fries. First off the waffle fries were the best ever 10 out 10! Fresh and perfectly seasoned with homemade ranch! Next the BBQ ribs were a delicious fall off the bone tender and perfectly glazed 9 out 10! On to the fried chicken which I’ve had some the best southern chicken just didn’t measure up at all, plain unsalted which could of top the charts for me if the chicken could of rounded out the meal 5 out 10…The portion was huge which was amazing deal for price! Pawn linguine was 8/10. I will be back there again, way more wins than loses here…I will keep you posted on the next visit…
