I wish I could give this place a 0 star, but it at least deserves something for the salad bar & atmosphere.
I ordered a ribeye special. Had to add the salad bar to it, and the salad bar was the best part of the meal. The medium steak I ordered was super thin, and very well done. The potato was thick skinned and and old black spots so we asked them to make us a fresh one. The new one was a LOT better and done in 5 min!
So, if you are good with old food, made without care, provided by a waitress that gets mad when a group is coming in, go ahead and support this place. We will not be back, no wonder their restaurants closed down.
Yes, the waitresses were prepping for a group of 20 to come in. She was as complaining to the other about needing to take her break! Girl! They will give you a larger tip than we did! Treat your customers with respect and just maybe you’ll stay in business.
I for one don’t think this place will last long with this food or service.
Definitely NOT worth the money we paid.

I’ve been dining at Ruby Tuesday in Dickson during my business trips since 2010, and it never disappoints. The food has always been worth the price, with fresh and flavorful options. Tonight, I had the Hickory Salmon—very tender, perfectly cooked, and delicious. The salad bar is another highlight, with a wide variety of fresh selections.
The service here is consistently excellent. My waiter, Ed, showed great hospitality and made the meal even more enjoyable. I also had a long, pleasant chat with Angie, who served me on my very first trip here years ago when she was a waitress. I was glad to learn that she has since been promoted to assistant manager—well deserved recognition for her dedication.
This place continues to feel welcoming and reliable, and I look forward to coming back on future trips. Highly recommended for both the food and the outstanding service!

As soon as I walked through the door I felt welcomed Angie was absolutely wonderful! My waitress Alyssa was so sweet attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. I had the hickory salmon with rice and zucchini which was jam packed and flavorful. I don’t usually eat salmon so I was trying something new. The lemonade margaritas were made just right shout out to the bartender and for desert I had the New York cheesecake. I definitely would recommend this location for anyone looking for a low key spot with great food friendly service and even better drinks.

The only thing that could have made this better service is if they would have had more staff so our waitress didn’t have to wait on everybody in the restaurant. She sat Us. She was the one that took our order. The one that brought our order, the one who picked up or finished plates and of course gave us our ticket and also made our drinks , however, she did an amazing job. She was very kind, friendly, very attentive.

Rice risotto was over cooked and way too much salt. Not sure why it was like this. They need to test food occasionally do this doesn’t happen. The test of the food was fine. The manager did offer something on its place.

I just had another outstanding experience at this place. My mixed drink was on point, food cooked the right way, and my server, Destiny, was on top of it the whole time. Fun conversationalist, quick with my drink orders and anything else I needed. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, and my server deserves some type of recognition. A credit to the establishment.

Elizabeth, our bartender, honestly you cannot get any better service, and friendlier of a person, and he personal touches on your drinks is just the icing AND the cherry on top of your perfect dessert.
Manager Rudy is just the nicest to make sure you are absolutely taken care of.

This has to be the worst place ever!!! My fiance and I did an early curbside pickup on Valentine’s day. First off we tried and tried to call to get our food but supposedly their phones were not working and they said they were slammed but the manager had time to come out of the building stand there and look at us while he smoked how tacky!!! But can someone please explain to me what a loaded baked potato is? I’m sure it’s not a baked potato wrapped in Aluminum foil with no butter, salt or sour cream and why in the world would you put a frozen dessert in with the warm food!!! I will definitely say we wont be back anytime soon what a waste of a $100!!!!!!

The Ruby Tuesday in Dickson, TN is by far one of America’s last great food institutions in TN. The restaurant is always clean, the staff is always courteous, & the food is absolutely delicious! Our fantastic server Edward was top notch in customer service, anticipated our needs before we even asked, & his small talk & sense of humor when he engaged with us at our table was right on time. My husband & I stop by whenever we travel between Memphis & Nashville. I definitely recommend this restaurant to travelers & locals alike! You will not be disappointed.
