Swing the Teapot has a cozy, eclectic charm that hits you the moment you walk in. The space feels intentionally mismatched in the best way—assorted tables, unique teacups, and teapots displayed everywhere give it a homey, lived‑in vibe that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile.

I ordered the traditional breakfast, which came with an Irish twist thanks to the black pudding sausage cuts. The flavor was savory, earthy, and genuinely delicious—comfort food with character. I also highly recommend the pancakes, so rich and tender, melt-in-your-mouth texture.

The ambiance overall was inviting, and the food was very good. Service started off strong: our server greeted us, took our order, and brought our meals promptly. Unfortunately, he never returned to check on us afterward, likely because he was tied up with a large party on the other side of the restaurant. We ended up flagging down other staff members just to order a glass of orange juice and later to request the check.

Despite the hiccup in service, Swing the Teapot is a lovely establishment with great food and a unique atmosphere. I’d definitely return—there’s a lot on the menu I’d still like to try, and the overall experience has plenty of charm.

Swing the Teapot in Long Island is such a cute and cozy spot, especially if you’re a tea lover. The food is more on the “comfort dinner” side simple but genuinely delicious, perfect for a relaxed meal.

The real standout here is the tea. Every cup is so flavorful, and they serve it in the most adorable antique teapots that make the whole experience feel extra special. The decorations add to the charm too, giving the place a warm, homey atmosphere.

Just a heads-up: the line can get pretty long, especially on weekends, so patience is definitely needed. But once you’re seated, it’s worth it.

Overall, a lovely place for good food, great tea, and a cute, nostalgic vibe.

Finding Swing the Teapot was a bit tricky at first because the location Maps brings you to isn’t accurate. I had to walk around a bit to actually find the place, so just a heads-up if you’re visiting for the first time.

Once inside, the space is surprisingly spacious and comfortable. They have both a bar area and table dining, so there’s plenty of options depending on your vibe. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The bathroom was also quite clean, which is always a plus.

For my meal, I ordered the peaches and cream pancakes, and home fries. The portion sizes were generous and definitely good value for the price. While the pancakes were filling, I did wish they had a bit more of that sweet flavor I was hoping for.

One thing to keep in mind—there’s no dedicated parking lot, and street parking can be a little tough to find, so plan accordingly.

Overall, Swing My Teapot offers a great atmosphere, good food portions, and friendly service, just be ready for a little extra effort in finding it and parking.

It was a cozy, pretty, and lovely cute atmosphere that’s wasn’t loud, so perfect for a nice breakfast with friends. It’s worth the price and to spend time. Coffee taste just hit the spot, and foods stand out. Absolutely recommended.

Gone with my partner a few times and the food is delicious! The place is spacious with plenty of seats and a warm atmosphere. However, every time we’ve gone, no matter how slow, the service is SO slow. We had to wait over 15 to order and even longer to pay the check.

This has to be the CUTEST place I have been to for breakfast! The atmosphere is very homey! The service in incredible. And the food is (chefs kiss).
I came here with my boyfriend and ordered a western omelette, I forgot what he had. The home fries/potatoes were delicious! Very well seasoned. The coffee is great as well. I had the option to have Irish soda bread with my breakfast. It was delightful.
They also had cute dishes on display!
I highly recommend this place ! You won’t be disappointed.

Cute place with an ecclectic assortment of teapots and tea cups but the food was very , very disappointing. Service was mediocre and perfunctory at best. Nothing warm or welcoming about the food or the service as my tea as well as my food was warm but not hot. I found prices to be higher than they should be for the level of quality they offer. I brought a good friend here for her birthday and was embarrassed by my choice. Better options abound!!

Super cute places to hangout and eat with friends! They’ve expanded to three rooms and each room has a different feel, very whimsical and cute. Each teapot they bring out is different, very eclectic. Loved loved Irish soda bread, those are a must try.
