After multiple visits, Thai Zab has proven to be a reliably enjoyable experience. The menu includes so many dishes you don’t find anywhere else – not just the usual curries and pad thai. Especially the grilled fish was superb.
The team is so effortlessly welcoming and attentive that it’s very easy to relax as a guest. You’re in good hands. Prices are relatively high for Athens, but not offensive and you definitely get what you pay for.
A reservation is always a good idea, but if you’re early (before 7pm) there tends to be a few smaller tables without ‘reserved’ signs.

Food was good although the Pad Thai felt like there is some kind of tomato in it, which slightly overpowers the rest of the ingredients. The Satay was good and the service was discrete and polite. The atmosphere was cozy and warm. The negative thing is the ventilation system. You leave the restaurant smelling like you were fried. Also the prices are a bit high. Other than that it was a pleasant experience.

We had an amazing dinner at this Thai restaurant! Every dish was full of authentic flavors, beautifully presented, and perfectly balanced. The Pad Kee Mao with shrimp and Pad See Ew beef were outstanding, the spring rolls and shrimp tempura were super fresh and crispy, and even the sticky rice was a perfect finish.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the service was attentive, friendly, and fast. Portions are generous and the menu has a great variety, including excellent vegetarian options.

Here too, we were both absolutely convinced: the dish was perfectly seasoned, with the unmistakable aroma of Thai basil and a pleasant level of spice that enlivened the dish without overpowering it. Again, the ingredients were fresh and of excellent quality.

As others have said, very watered down Thai flavors. Not the rich savory flavors you will find in Thailand.
Ordered the food and 2 minutes later it was on the table. Pad see eww was a 3/5 and fried rice was a mushy 3/5

We ate at Vietnam Street Food a few days ago and that was incredibly authentic and flavorful Vietnamese. Highly recommend for an authentic Asian food experience.
