My sister and I checked out the Loving Hut for dinner yesterday. Loved the pics of famous vegans and quotes on their wall. We ate golden rolls, cheese sticks, samosas, bbq drumsticks, spicy cha cha (vegan shrimp), raspberry cheesecake (not pictured), and fried ice cream. That fried ice was super good, especially since the vegan vanilla ice cream was made in house! Highly recommend checking them out

I recently visited Loving Hut and left feeling disappointed. I want to start by saying that I genuinely love Loving Hut and make it a point to visit different locations when I’m traveling. I’ve always appreciated their food and the values they represent, so I was excited to come across this location and expected the same level of integrity and consistency I’ve experienced elsewhere.
Their website lists lower prices for most menu items, but when I arrived at the restaurant, the in-store menu showed significantly higher prices. Then when I received my check, the prices were increased even further. That kind of inconsistency feels misleading and creates distrust.
When I asked about it, my server explained that she is not the owner and has no control over pricing. She mentioned that staff have asked the owner to update the website so pricing matches across all menus, but nothing has been done. I appreciate her honesty — she was polite and doing her best in an uncomfortable situation. After I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor, they agreed to honor the in-store menu price.
Beyond pricing, the restaurant itself did not feel well maintained. There was visible dust on fixtures and lighting, and some of the furniture and tables appeared old and deteriorating.
What makes this especially disappointing is that Loving Hut promotes values rooted in Buddhism, kindness, and integrity. Transparency and care for customers should align with those principles. As someone who has supported Loving Hut across different locations, I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works toward more consistent pricing and better upkeep.

I have been here before and was impressed with their tasty food and diverse menu. One of the ONLY vegan restaurants in Northern VA. Decided to come back and try again, the wings were great, and general tsos was great! We also got dumplings, curry soup, and spinach pastry. Everything was tasty but cold. Seemed like the food had been sitting out a while before making it to the table. Also service seemed slow and unprofessional, after our food was delivered to the table no one came back to check on us again. We had to go looking for someone for drink refills and to-go boxes. I also noted that the curry soup was mostly liquid and had very little substance to it. For the price and description it should have had more in it. Overall I will be back and I expect hot fresh food next time so I can update my review. Still love this place! Thanks for being VEGAN.

The food is excellent! I come here frequently because it never disappoints and I like trying new things on the menu. I haven’t found anything on the menu that isn’t delicious. Highly recommend this place when you are in the mood for a delicious vegan meal ✨

The first time I visited this place was many moons ago. Visited today and the food wasn’t great. Under-seasoned, underwhelming & just quite disappointing.
I ordered the samosas and they tasted exactly like the ones from Trader Joe’s. I added extra protein to my order and it was 2 different proteins, one maybe a vegan spam and another vegan shrimp which i didn’t understand.
The blissful fried rice brought upon me no bliss and all disappointment.
Ordered the lemongrass tofu for my husband and it was watery and so bad he had to just toss it.
Wouldn’t visit again or recommend , not to a friend or foe.

The food is descent but mostly fried. The biggest problem is the smoke. The entire restaurant is infiltrated with smoke and I could hardly breath because I am allergic to smoke. I had to change seats 3 times until I got one next tothe window.
Ordering online is a nightmare. They picked up the phone but the voice is muffled and sounds very far away. You cannot hear what they’re saying. Discouraged, I hang up and didn’t place an order.

I thought it was just an over hyped Thai spot but the appetizers were pretty decent. I thought Gen Tso’s and shrimp noodle concoction were okay (menu was so big so maybe could’ve got something better like what the chef had recommended) but what really knocked my socs off was the fried ice cream. First time ever & wowsers! I’ll be back to try that and other things on their menu. They have so many options! Prices are reasonable as well, we just wanted to try many things on the menu

One of my favorite vegan places to go to in NOVA. The employees are cool and nice to chat to, and it’s a calm environment with some quiet TV on for background noise. I like seeing all the celebrities who are vegan pictured on the wall as well. My favorite things to get there are the summer rolls and the noodles with fake shrimp + veggies in it. The hot dog is really good, but I recommend getting 2 if you’re really hungry like me lol. I tried one of the Vietnamese sandwiches there, and it was so delicious! Ooh the cake is scrumptious there as well. This is the place to go for amazing food!

Thoroughly enjoyed bringing in the New Year at Loving Hut.
The service was fast and pleasant. The staff was friendly and at check out we were asked, how was ever and how was the food.
The restroom was clean.
The food was hot and fresh.
They do offer a military discount.
We enjoyed the golden nuggets, golden rolls, the fish filled on lettuce with fries and the lemongrass tofu.
We definitely recommend and will visit again.

When I was vegan, I’d always come here before the holidays and my birthday to get food but especially desserts. I haven’t been vegan in over 4 years and I STILL think about this place all the time. It’s far from me but highly recommend, their dessert are some of the best I’ve ever had, especially their cannolis (best vegan option and in my opinion better than any non vegan ones I’ve had in my life)! I shall return one day to feast again :3
