They toasted the buns perfect one of the only cheesesteaks I’ve had that wasn’t real greasy. Toppings on the sausage sub were amazing 5/5 on both trays pizzas good too. Very satisfied with our lunch today

Food is great. But they overcooked the fish. Everything else was great. Offer several specials. Can be busy so drinks are slow coming sometimes. Overall the food is great, atmosphere is fantastic. You feel very at home in jeans, a t-shirt and boots. The sub sandwich was fantastic and the pizza looks out-of-this-world. Take time and stop by you will not be disappointed.

Jim’s Place in Elkton is hands down one of our favorites. They have the best handmade calzones, absolutely delicious, and honestly you can’t go wrong no matter what you order. Everything on the menu is great, the service is always friendly, and the prices are very fair. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re anywhere nearby!

Took the family down to Elton to enjoying Sykes Corn Maze. My son noticed Jim’s Place about 1 mile or two before we got to maze. After running amuck through the maze they decided they were starving. My son said how about that place on the way in. So we popped in and was pleasantly surprised. Jims isn’t fancy, it’s good ol country. It’s small but has surprisingly good seating, indoors and out. It is wheel chair accessible too. You walk in and order at counter. Menu has many options and the portions are fabulous! I had a chef salad… now a days you get tons of lettuce and light toppings. I can’t tell you how much turkey and ham there was! Lots of cheese, onion, black olive. The roll that accompanied it was huge and slathered in delicious butter. My people had the 1/2 pound burger… I’ve never seen such a thick, juicy burger. Those things I swear were an inch thick!!! We also enjoyed corn nuggets and onion rings… both to die for. I’d be interested in trying their pizza too! Pepsi products and adult beverages.(beer and white claws) If you’re in Elton, Florida please support local and try Jim’s Place. Parking ample.

One of the best hidden places to eat. The Calzones are huge, the food is amazing. Service is friendly. They do have a small oven so you will wait a while for your order however its worth it!

Wonderful hole in the wall restaurant on the side of 207. I discovered this gem of a place several years ago & try to stop by any time I can. They accurately cook burgers to the requested level, have quality food, and have great flavor. Staff might be a little rough around the edges but for the great tasting food, reasonable prices, & daily specials it’s a must stop. I have introduced many colleagues/friends to this place that have said they will frequent following their initial exposure. Keep up the great work!

First time here, very cool. Food was very good. Service was outstanding. Love the old store look, feels like a 1970’s general store. Lots of food for the money. Wings were top notch. Service was great, took care of us well.
Will be back…

WOW I am so glad I stopped in for dinner tonight Jim’s Place. I have been passing by here for years intending to stop in but never have until tonight. What a great experience.

I feasted upon the most delicious Calzone filled with fresh ricotta, mozzarella, pepperoni, flavorful sausage and onions. What a treat this was after a busy day. When this tasty dish arrived at my table it didn’t even fit on the plate. There was no way I was going to be able to finish it but I was going to give it my best effort. That effort was not successful but they brought be a box and it tasted even better the next day.

Jim’s Place is definitely worth the 20 minute drive from downtown St. Augustine and I will definitely be back soon!

Hidden gem . We will definitely be back when driving thru this way. Stopped here for a Saturday lunch. I got the club sandwich and he got the cheese calzone. He is super picky with any type of pizza. His first bite he said “wow”. My club sandwich bread was toasted to perfection and cheese melted just right. Service was fine. Love the old feel of the general store type of building. Can’t remember last time I paid $23 for 2 entree and had huge to go boxes and LOVED the meal. Fantastic
