First Watch is an award-winning breakfast, brunch and lunch spot, serving a chef-driven menu of elevated classics and seasonal specialties, always made to order using the freshest ingredients. We greet the sunrise by slicing and juicing fresh fruits and vegetables, whipping French toast batter from scratch and brewing pots of our single-origin Project Sunrise coffee. Freshness is never comprised, which is why we welcome each season into our menu with ingredients and flavors inspired by the position of the sun. All year long, you can enjoy craveable favorites like Avocado Toast for breakfast, Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict for brunch and Lemon Ricotta Pancakes for lunch. I just happened to be passing by and found this breakfast shop on Google Maps.
Not disappointed. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating, is clean and tidy, and the menu includes traditional breakfast as well as healthy energy bowls (I really like non-fried food). The Million Bacon, while just a gimmicky name, is indeed very unique and not bad at all. The servers are quick, attentive, and friendly.

My second time at this location as I am used to Sarasota’s locations. I ordered a Kale & Berry Salad “to go” and was told to wait 10 minutes or so but I was surprise when it was not more than 5 minutes. When I opened it to my surprise, it was no “kale” to be seen on top or underneath the chicken. It was also too late to go back and request the proper ingredients. I understand this is a “Franchise” but someone forgot to get proper instructions. My first visit was not pleasant either but being on a busy day, I wanted to give them a second change.

Didn’t actually eat here, but word has it that it’s the best, or one of the best breakfast places around. There was a line and we’d already had a great breakfast in Venice (FLORIDA) elsewhere.

What a way to end a vacation in Venice Florida other than visiting the local First Watch. The food and the atmosphere was amazing. But the service that Mr. Sean provided us with was phenomenal. Very attentive and made sure our dining experience was pleasant…… Sean you have made our vacation complete thank you.

My husband and I really enjoyed our first experience at First Watch. The host was so kind, and our server was competent and nice. The food was delicious and presented so attractively. I ordered my eggs over medium, and they did them perfectly. I was pleasantly surprised at the fair prices. They were comparable or even less than the other breakfast places that I have visited. We are excited to go back, and I am comfortable in recommending this place. Also, if you have a dog, they have an outdoor seating area that looks comfortable. The inside of the restaurant has a pleasant vibe.

I’ve ate at first watch many of times but this will be my last. I thought it was a hair but it’s too course for a hair. It actually feels like a wire. Like a piece wire from a brillo pad or a scrubber. I’ve not even made it half way through my food & won’t finish my $30 meal. This saddens me along with anger me. I’m glad I’m vigilant & didn’t swallow it!

This First Watch is fantastic. Amazing omelettes (I’ll admit that’s all I ever get because they’re just too good). Great and attentive staff and servers. Fair prices for what you get.
Parking can be tricky at peak times but you can park around back or a little farther down the shopping complex. Overall, a must try for breakfast/brunch especially

My husband & I & another couple were seated right under a blower. It was extremely cold air. I told a waitress who walked by how uncomfortable it was & she said she would tell her manager. She also said the air blowing on us was supposed to be heat. I said it must be broken because it is definitely cold air. We noticed no one in the restaurant had taken off their coats. Grant it, it was a very cold unusual day outside but it shouldn’t have felt like the outside air inside. ABSOLUTELY NO STARS.
Others who had been seated after us, one being right next to us, hit their food about 5-10 minutes before us. The. 3 of us got our food but my husband’s did not. Our main waitress & another waitress both came by our table and said his order would be out soon. To be polite we should have waited for his food but our food was already starting to get cold. He didn’t get his food for another 10 minutes at least. ABSOLUTELY NO STARS!
In my opinion, they did not care at the least that we were freezing or the timeliness of our food. We were not apologized to or compensated in any manner, BECAUSE the had more people waiting to be seated and their food is always delicious. I will not be back to this location of First Watch.
