I am a huge fan of El Maguey, though this was my first time at this location. The ordering process over the phone was easy. The restaurant felt clean and comfortable as I waited for my made fresh order.
Everything was beyond delicious as we got a combination plate, steak quesadillas and chicken quesadillas. Of course we got cheese dip and chips too.
For take out they do charge a $.75 take out fee per person, which is understandable.
Definitely will be back for dine in and take out.

Have been going to this specific location for years. Every time we go, we are seated within minutes and have someone checking in on us immediately. I typically get the same 3 dishes and they are always perfect; the food is full of flavor, hot and comes out so quick. The waiters/waitresses check in on you multiple times throughout your meal, and always make sure everything came out perfect. You can tell that the workers genuinely care about the service and quality of their dishes and want to make you happy. In addition, everyone is always in a great mood and they always have a smile on their face, making sure you feel comfortable and taken care of. This is my favorite spot in St. Louis. I leave feeling so full and happy, with the most wonderful food and workers that truly put a smile on your face. They truly treat you like family, what a great restaurant quality they have. Thank you El Maguey N St. Peter’s Pkwy for your wonderful atmosphere, amazing dishes and great staff!

i walked in around 6-7 pm and ordered my food, it honestly took around 30 minutes to get my fajita mix but oh my, was the wait worth it. the amazing grilled vegetables, onions, and the steak fulfilled my expectations of a great dinner. and oh, don’t get me started on the amazing service from the cashier, who’s name i got – javier. he made me feel welcomed and anytime i had a question or needed something, he would assist me every time. overall i had a great experience here and i am definitely coming back here and recommending this place to others. give javier a raise.

We went Saturday Sep 6 at about lunch time (not busy) the server barely came by our table. The food took a bit longer than expected which is usually no issue but it was bland. The restrooms arent clean and the baby changing table is broken. Won’t be coming back.

We love El Maguey and their staff. The environment is fun and festive with plenty of booths around perimeter and tables in middle. There is a second room that could be used for private parties or a big group. The food is excellent. One of our favorite Mexican restaurants!

Not too busy, and most of thr staff only speak Spanish, but there food is AMAZING, and there very attentive and listen to everything you say, I love the staff here honestly.. very nice and calm environment, would recommend , food is a 10/10..

Staff was not welcoming, food was cold, and I didn’t even have a chance to ask my server to warm it up more, because he never came back after the food drop. Someone else checked us out entirely. I definitely won’t be back to this location.

This was a quaint restaurant that our friends took us too and we loved it! Had amazing margaritas and a wide selection of food to choose from! We ordered a burrito and enchiladas, they did not disappoint. What really made us happy were the size options for the margaritas!
