Starting in May 2006 ownership embarked on a mission to transform a neighborhood pizza joint into what we now know as BLVD Tavern. Over the first several years the concept has evolved into a local ‘Tavern’ style establishment with a similar vibe and feel as a lot of popular Taverns in the bustling Windy City of Chicago. While maintaining a neighborhood comfort and welcoming atmosphere, our menu consists of a variety of made-from-scratch items such as pizza, soups, salads, specialty appetizers, and sandwiches. Our two large bars boast over two dozen of the most popular and craft draught beer selections as well as your favorite cocktails.

I’m still working on the rest of the menu. But hands-down in my opinion, they have restaurant quality food. Every thing from burgers and fries, pizza, tacos, Korean rice bowls, ribs, shiskabobs and monthly specials. Can’t go wrong. The drinks are great. Staff is really cool. Service is good. Always a lively atmosphere. Weekends there occasionally is a band. Worth checking out and revisiting

My friends wanted to go out to eat somewhere close, and they’ve been here before; I haven’t. I’m very restricted where I can eat as I have celiac disease and I have to be extremely careful of what I eat and how it’s prepared etc. I called ahead of time to ask if they could accommodate me, as I indicated, I have celiac, and what I believe to be the manager was very accommodating. She helped me choose a dish that was safe for me to eat, guided me through the process, and it was delicious. I did not get sick. I will be returning because of how kind and accommodating the staff were, and how tasty the food was. Thank you.

We found this place accidentally while looking for someplace to have food and drinks one evening. We were seated immediately abs it was pretty busy. There was live music and a great crowd here. The atmosphere was very positive and it was a place I think you could have a great evening with friends drinking, eating, listening to music.
This is definitely in a tucked away location ithat’s in a strip mall. To see it from afar you really wouldn’t be think much of it. For one, it is definitely much larger inside than you would think! As well, the v food is pretty good and came out hot and fresh.
In my opinion, this place is a Hidden Gem! We will definitely be back!

From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. The service was attentive and friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious—full of flavor and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere was clean, comfortable, and inviting. This is definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to and recommending to friends and family.

The BLVD Tavern is the bee’s knees. Their menu caters to all facets of the tastebuds and leaves you pleasantly satisfied and full. We got chicken, fish, and cheese sticks. The cheese sticks were the best and make me want to try their pizza. The crust is awesome and so is the cheese. I can’t speak for the chicken because I didn’t have any of that, but the beer battered cod is fabulous. And, it goes great with the BLVD fries. Those blue cheese wonders are tasty.

My team and I went to BLVDs on a Thursday late afternoon, it was pretty busy but we got seated. They had good music and the staff was pretty friendly. Servers attended to us, ordered our drinks and they were brought out pretty quickly. They also checked in on us regularly as we were waiting for the rest of our party so I can appreciate that. After we ordered, the food came out fairly quick. Quality of food was alright, but honestly nothing spectacular and decently priced. Overall, it was the atmosphere that I enjoyed most. Willing to try again.

I hosted a high school reunion here and we had a fantastic time! Not only did we really enjoy having use of the party room but we also were able to enjoy the patio. Food was fantastic (chicken wings, pizza and Italian fries with marinara sauce), service was terrific and it was a great atmosphere for our get together. I would definitely do another event here.

Good spot to eat – inside or outside – or to watch a game. Our service was a little slow but our food was really good.
Our group ordered a seasonal item called “The Four Amigos Sliders”. Our order had two different burger sliders – a California burger and a Cowboy burger, a Nashville Hot Chicken slider, and a Chicken Parmesan slider. One of the burgers was supposed to be BBQ Pulled Pork but at least the food all tasted great. We also had the ABLT, which had good flavor but could’ve used more tomato; it was a lot of lettuce. The tots and fries were also great. And a tall beer (22oz) was only $8, which is better than many competitors. Other members of our group enjoyed their food as well.
We could see ourselves returning to watch a sports event in the future.
