The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with a classic Italian feel. The service was excellent — friendly and attentive staff who made us feel welcome throughout the meal.
The food was overall good, though a bit salty for my taste. The garlic bread was crisp and flavorful, and the olive oil dip was a nice touch. The seafood pasta was creamy and rich, while the tomato-based pasta had strong, bold flavors. The cheese was fresh and plentiful, adding a nice balance to the dishes.
It’s not quite the same as traditional Italian restaurants in Italy, but still a very enjoyable dining experience. Would definitely come back for the service and ambiance!

Such a cute date night location! We went on a Tuesday night and it was perfect and a cute ambiance. The escargot that came with bread was delicious with garlic bread too! The entrees were so flavorful and delicious can’t wait to go back. I had never had calamari steak and wow I love it and the citrus lime butter flavor. Very filling both meals and the linguine was flavorful with the wine. Got bubbly and wine so good!

Old school Italian restaurant. Service was traditionally formal and very attentive. Focaccia bread was made from scratch. Linguine and clams was amazing. Lasagna was a combination of meats with five layers in acompanied with al dente vegetables that were perfect. I highly We recommend eating here if you go to lake Tahoe. Their prices are about half of what most restaurants charge for their food in the area so they are extremely reasonably priced for very high-end cuisine.

Had a very nice dinner here. We aren’t “foodies”, but we know quality. The lobster ravioli appetizer was very good. My wife had the chicken and ravioli and I had the lasagna. Bread was served also. Plenty to eat, we brought some home. Our waiter, Keyshore, was very pleasant and attentive. Thank you, Keyshore! Good food, good service, nice place. Can’t go wrong.

Had dinner last night at Scusa and what a treat! Service was great, atmosphere cozy and the lasagna was to die for. They serve focaccia bread with oil and balsamic and that was just ehhh. Next time I would order a side of garlic bread. Give the place a try, you won’t regret it!

Food was cooked perfectly! I love my food hot and that’s the way it was delivered. We’ll definitely eat here again!. We ordered the calamari appetizer to start. I had the lasagna and my wife had the seafood pasta, shrimp clams and muscle scusa. The calamari was cooked to perfection, we both enjoyed it. The lasagna was excellent and so was my wife’s Seafood dish. I was only able to eat my vegetables and half of my lasagna, you will definitely leave here full. I should have snapped a before picture:) anyhow, try this place, you’ll be back for sure.

Most authentic in Tahoe unless you have a Nona in the kitchen. I was a bit bummed to hear our server offer another table a few things that weren’t offered to us but what you gonna do. A bit loud but it’s an Italian kitchen vibe so….can get busy. Normal wait is normally as expected, on busy nights however, I’d reserve. Especially big parties.

Very disappointing and dishonest billing.
I ordered two pasta dishes, service was normal and the food was average.
My meal was $49, and with the 18% tip I left, the total should have been $59.
Two days later, I checked my credit card and found they added the $59 on top of the original $49 and charged me $108 without authorization.
This completely ruined our dinner experience, and I can’t imagine what would have happened if I hadn’t checked my statement.
If this wasn’t due to poor training, then the restaurant was simply being dishonest.
I do not recommend this restaurant.
Always check your statements.
