You can expect big flavors out of our lil brewery. With an emphasis on Hazy IPAs, Fruit Beers, Stouts, and even Sours. We brew what you want to drink! Check Untappd or our website for our current tap list. LIL BEAVER SERVES FOOD! We have a full menu and a full kitchen, offering many options that pair great with our selection of brews. Food is available for dining in or to-go via pickup. We are kid friendly, but no dogs allowed in the taproom due to county health code. Dogs are welcome on the patio!

I want to take a moment to thank Lil Beaver Brewery for all there help leading up to and the day of our event. Cassie was who I coordinated with the whole time via email. When we showed up and needed more space for our silent auction and raffle they were super accommodating and we were able to have an amazing event. We had a Jeep Event for Mental Health and I am not from the area so being able to show up and have an accommodating staff was amazing. From giving us extra room by bringing tables down to accommodating those who had dogs to sit outside. I think our waiter was Adam who was so amazing the whole time as well! Highly recommend for a small event! Thank you again!

11/25 – Played golf with HS buddies & brought them here afterwards. All of them were impressed with the food, service, and atmosphere. Me, I come for the beer, but the wings were pretty good.
9/25 – Came here on a recommendation and glad we did. Great Beer, Great Service, fun & lively place on a Friday evening. but parking can be a problem. Had the Tacos, good but you need a bib. Wife had the Ruben & onion rings and our friend a grilled cheese. No complaints. Will be my place of choice next time I’m in Bloomington.

Some adventures don’t require a passport — just a short drive across Bloomington. Our latest stop took us to Lil Beaver Brewery, a bold and creative hub of local beer innovation that has been delighting Central Illinois since 2016.
We were greeted by General Manager Brandon Ciasnocha, who shared stories of the brewery’s evolution and local impact. Owners Adam and Justin Bellas have taken their “small but mighty” brewery from a homegrown dream to a Bloomington favorite that’s crafted over 200 beers throughout the years. Their flagship hit — the ever-popular Wainbows — continues to fly off the taps.
Step inside and you’ll quickly sense the energy: the beer garden extends the space beautifully, offering room for friends, families, and laughter under the open sky. Sustainability also plays a proud role here — Lil Beaver partners with local farmers, sending their spent grains to feed cattle and close the local loop in true community fashion.
Tasting the Adventure
Our tasting flight read like a tour through the brewery’s creative DNA.
Wyezick – a crisp and refreshing wheat ale with balanced citrus notes.
Wainbow – their iconic fruited IPA that bursts with tropical character.
CHRA Space Crystals – a hazy IPA that’s smooth, juicy, and cosmic in both flavor and name.
Dipped and Deride – a dessert-inspired stout that turns indulgence into art.
Peach Crumble – like summer in a glass, softly sweet and fruit-forward.
Jitters – coffee lovers rejoice; a bold brew that marries rich roast with silky texture.
PDC Lager – clean, crisp, and perfect for a classic beer moment.
Amber Ale – toasted malt warmth for those who love tradition done right.
Brewers Collin Shaffer and Tyler bring creative fire to every keg they craft, while bartenders TJ and AJ make each pour a friendly experience that keeps regulars coming back.

This has become one of my ‘go to’s’ for a turkey sandwich. Their turkey croissant slaps. lol. It is a fantastic little sandwich. The turkey is lean and good. the bacon is crispy and they never put too much mayo on it. Fantastic Sami…. and the ambience and atmosphere are really nice. Nice little spot tucked in behind Steak N Shake off of Veterans in Bloomington. If you havent been there, you gotta give em a try.
Ive tried about 6-7 (see what I did there) things on the menu and everyone has been great. The baria tacos are fire, the nachos are really good. Everything slaps..!!

I came here for a Sports Card Show and decided to grab lunch while here. It has a very nice atmosphere and incredible food and service!
I ordered the Birria Nachos and they definitely were a hit! The meat was perfectly cooked and it’s was plenty to feed 2 people! And came out very quick for as packed as they were!
My server Emmy was outstanding! Very interactive and helpful as I’d never been there before so I didnt know what was good or portion size. Always came to the table with a smile and a bright mood! Definitely ask for her if you go! Never ran out of a drink, which is one of my biggest pet peeves!

We’ve been here a few times, and we always have a great experience! The drinks and food are amazing. This past time we went, I tried the blue raspberry cider and the tropical mango cider. Both were scrumptious. For the meal, I had ordered the birria tacos, and let me tell you, these birria tacos are LEGIT. So so so GOOOD. I just wish there was more than three tacos on the plate because I could definitely eat more than three lol. Also more consomme to dip them in because it’s DELICIOUS. The service is also great and helpful. This is definitely one of our favorite places!

I want prepared for how delicious this meal was. I was expecting a typical “bar food” experience, but this was truly a delightful meal. Both dishes were delivered very shortly after ordering (given how busy they were, this was shockingly fast). And both were absolutely delicious. The steak on my salad was perfect, dressing was spot on for the favors of the salad, and the meatballs and marinara were fabulous! I definitely look forward to going back here for a few more meals. They’ve raised the bar for certain!

The food here is good, and the portions are reasonable. Don’t be fooled by the look of this place from the road. While it may look like it is tucked back in a business park, it has a great back patio, and seating inside is really nice.
The beer here is top-notch. They have amazing sours and the stouts are some of the best in the area. Their marketing is a fun concept with great artwork.
