Great steaks, fun staff, very family run- the owners son cooks. They did have all the ice cream drinks but we opted to head to At Random for a Pink Squirrel.

Our annual friends Christmas dinner was held here last night and our group of six 70 -somethings are all veterans of fine dining. The room was packed and decorated for the season.
Our waitress took drink orders and returned quickly to explain the menu. She was obviously experienced and very efficient throughout our stay. She made sure we understood our grilling expectations. “Crispy outside with pink inside?” This eliminates surprises and disappointments noted by other reviewers.
Our party had a variety of steaks and all were satisfied with the quality and quantity of each meal. I’m a French Onion soup freak and was a little disappointed, as it lacked flavor. But we all agreed our other side dishes we had were on point.
Reviewers who complain about the prices might check other area steakhouses and will find this restaurant is in line with the better establishments and even cheaper than some.
The six of us enjoyed our experience here and plan to return in the future.

I would like to begin by stating that I am not typically one to complain, particularly when it pertains to food service. I am generally content with satisfactory food, especially during my initial visit to a restaurant, as I do not have preconceived expectations.

However, during a recent visit, I ordered the prime rib at what is described as a “steakhouse” and was served a piece of meat that was truly unappetizing in both taste and smell. Having had prime rib at many other establishments, I have experienced both excellent and acceptable steaks in the past. This particular instance was, without a doubt, the most disappointing I have ever encountered. The other components of the meal were OK. Finally, the carrot cake was very good. The prices, however, seemed extremely disproportionate to the quality received.

I experienced no issues with the service provided.

Given that I was dining with a larger group, I chose not to return the food. If I had been with only my family, I would have done so, which would have been a first for me.

Had a great 70th birthday dinner. Our waitress Selena or Celina did an outstanding job. The restaurant was well decorated and lively. The other staff provided timely water fills and we’re around if something was needed. The food was done perfectly. I highly recommend this restaurant.

My date took me here to celebrate my 80th birthday & I went home hungry! Ordered Baby Back ribs & was served the smaller portion/half rak. Extremely high price for less than 2 Tblsp. of meat!!! Not even a serving for a child!
So disappointed! I thought I was getting larger portion/full rak & waitress never asked me what size I wanted. She assumed! I’m a meat eater with a good appetite. Ribs were tasty & tender. The sour cream & onion steak fries were hot but sadly, very crusty & hard – overcooked or overheated? Only ate 3 or 4 fries. Onion soup excellent. Service was very good. Extremely disappointed in my special 80th dinner celebration.

Small family like supper club with nice drinks and atmosphere. Food was good but nothing special for the price.

The open kitchen is nice but you can see all of the good and bad. Watched the cook cut open a raw steak and then use the same knife to cut open a baked potato. Spilled a plate of green beans on the serving counter and picked them up with his hands and put them right back on the plate for service.

This was our first visit to this wonderful supper club. Nice bar area for a cocktail before dinner. Everyone in our party loved their food. Kudos to the Chef(s) and the service was great! Highly recommend this place and we will return.

My husband and I were there for our 30th wedding anniversary. Our Filets were delicious, along with the mushrooms. Sides were good, wedge salad outstanding. The lounge singer made sure my husband got served at the bar as it was SO busy. There was a short lapse of time after we were seated for the waitress to approach us, the hostess was made aware and immediately we were assigned a new server and our small inconvenience was corrected as we received a complimentary drink for each of us. Our evening was in no way marred by this and we will look forward to our next visit!! Thank You for a memorable evening. Mr. and Mrs. Ahrens

I’ll start by saying I never take the time to leave reviews. I will also preface this with the fact our family has been going here for 35+ years, needless to say I have gone in here 40+ times myself. Tonight was epically terrible. We sat at the bar, and recognizing it was busy asked if we could order food whenever a sever had time to come over. After having to ask 3 times and over a 45+ minute period we finally got a waitress that had a poor attitude. We all ordered and it seemed clear what we ordered. The chicken sandwich came out with a single small piece of chicken, granted I have had this sandwich 15+ times and there is always 2 pieces and it is generous size. Also the bun was terrible and chicken overcooked. The pork chop sandwich that was ordered medium was extra done, super dry and hard to chew. We had ordered sides of parm peppercorn to go with our wedges, only for it to be delivered with no dressing and 3 forks slapped on the bar with no napkins or knives. So we asked, and received sides of ranch. Also asked for napkins and knives, may have even asked for the dressing we had ordered and paid for but never saw the waitress again …. Took two times of asking different folks to even get the napkins and knives after watching the server walk by a few times. After telling the bar we would like to leave they had to track her down, she took a plate without even asking leaving the person that wanted to eat their pickle confused. And left the bill and despite putting the card their right away she walked away with once again a poor attitude. So the bar who normally doesn’t handle the food bill had to take it over by her. While none of this is the bars fault, it was mentioned and met with a simple, sorry.

My husband and I have been coming here for years. About a year ago, we noticed the food quality had gone down, so we stopped going there for a while. We stopped in again last night, and I ordered the filet. It was so tough that I immediately suspected that they were charging USDA Prime prices for USDA Choice steaks. When I nicely asked our server, she acknowledged that they used Choice beef. Very disappointing. I remember when their steaks were so tender you could practically cut them with a butter knife. I can buy a Choice steak at any grocery store and cook it myself. When I order it at a restaurant, I want restaurant quality – aka Prime beef. Our server was wonderful, and the rest of the food was fine, but the steak, which should have been the star of the show, was very subpar.

Not sure how this place is anywhere above a 2.5 overall. Dined here yesterday with my family and it was anything but spectacular. The prices were absolutely outrageous for the low grade quality of food. $50 for scallops that looked and tasted like fried tater tots. Tasteless, watery French onion soup. Got the Thanksgiving dinner for $39 and tasted like it came out of a box. Our server, Marissa was very nice but the food was extremely subpar. My brother in law and wife had been there once before without me and both said they’d never go back but it was the only place available on Thanksgiving. I see why. I can get better quality food at Outback for the Michelin Star prices they’re charging. Do yourself a favor and spend your hard earned money elsewhere.
