Jollibee has always been one of my favorite fast food places since I was a kid! I was super happy when they opened a branch here in the U.S., especially in New Jersey. But during my last visit, I was a bit sad to find out there’s no more rice with the chicken meals — they replaced it with a biscuit instead. The chicken just hits different when you have it with rice! I don’t really get why they changed it, especially since most of the customers here are Filipinos — and we all know, rice is life! ❤️

Also, just a tip: always double-check your order when doing takeout. Ours was missing items about four times already, but we only noticed after getting home, so we couldn’t complain. Hoping they bring back white rice with the chicken meals soon!

There’s a reason Jollibee is known for having the best fried chicken in America — it’s perfectly crispy, juicy, and full of flavor every time. I even tried their new spicy chicken sandwich, and it was excellent as well. The food is always fresh, the service is friendly, and the experience is consistently great. Absolutely worth the stop.

Decided to try Jollibee as it was one of the few options open late at night. Despite it being within a few hours of closing, the chicken was still cooked fresh and was incredibly juicy with a delicious skin that was crunchy and well seasoned. The Korean bbq chicken was also delicious as well, and it was still crispy despite being covered in sauce. The only disappointment were the sides. The white rice was lukewarm, and the biscuits and the fries were cold and hard and not hot and fresh like the chicken was. The fries were lacking salt or seasoning as well. Overall, was very pleased with the chicken, but better quality sides could’ve made it a perfect visit.

If you are looking for the absolute best “fast food chain” fried chicken in the U.S., this is arguably it. After tasting my way through various spots, this is a solid winner domestically.

To put it in perspective for the international travelers: it currently sits at a very respectable #3 on my global leaderboard, trailing only the legendary KFC in Jamaica (#2) and the unbeatable gold standard that is KFC in Trinidad and Tobago (#1).

The Spicy Chicken & Gravy is the absolute star of the show. The spicy chicken is perfectly seasoned, but when you smother it in the gravy they provide, it becomes something truly exceptional. It’s a flavor combination that sets them apart from the standard competition.

The meals are priced reasonably enough, especially considering the quality you’re getting. It feels like a fair trade for a satisfying meal.

The food quality is high, and the service is just as good—efficient and friendly enough to keep the experience smooth.
While it hasn’t quite dethroned the Caribbean heavyweights, it is a top-tier choice for anyone in the states looking for a serious fried chicken fix. Definitely worth a visit if you haven’t tried it yet.

Love going here! Menu changes to fit the neighborhood which is great. Way different than the PH. The family meals go a long way!

$20 for a 6-piece of chicken and this is what I get?
Shrink-flation hit Jollibee hard. Why does it look like my chicken thighs are cut in half? I know they used to be bigger. You get more for your money at Popeyes.

The newly opened Jollibee establishment offers exceptional customer service and a clean dining environment. The food is fresh and flavorful, with a particular highlight being the chicken sandwich. The chicken sandwich is crispy and well-spiced, while the chicken tenders are exceptionally crunchy and not dry. Overall, I am highly impressed with the quality of the food and service.

My current favorite fried chicken — I’ve had it countless times already! The crispy coating combined with the special sauce is just perfect. You definitely have to order the spicy version — it’s only a little bit spicy, but so much tastier than the non-spicy one!

the Pinoy comfort food.

this location offer drive thru which convenient but we tend to just eat here while food is hot and fresh and plus the place is quite clean and organized. Service is good too and staff always keep the tables clean and ready for the next customer.

our go to is usually the spicy chicken joy, cheese burgers and spaghetti. There is an extra kick and flavor to the spicy one but the original is good nonetheless. The skin/batter is always nice and crisp! the taste just reminds you of the Philippines that its not only the flavor we enjoy but also the nostalgia.

we hardly leave here without anything to go lol

The other day I ordered, Jollibee, for lunch. It was absolutely fantastic. This wasn’t my first time trying, Jolibee, but I just had to write a review for it after this time. For this particular instance I had ordered their, 2pc Chickenjoy w/ Palabok Fiesta, their Peach-Mango Pie, and their Pineapple Quencher to wash it down. It was so Their fried chicken is seasoned so damn well, and extremely juicy. The Palabok Fiesta, was interesting. Never really had anything like it. It comes with a thin rice-noodle, topped with pork and shrimp chopped together. The sauce it comes in is not like a, may be expected, tomato base sauce (such as a traditional spaghetti sauce). It leaned more on a garlic flavor with a tomatoey undertone to compliment it. Almost buttery like a Marsala. It was delicious all the same! The Peach-Mango Pie was fairly decent, has an Eggroll like crust around the filling. The filling is, of course, very Mango-y and very Peachy. Extremely sweet. Not really up my alley, but the flavor was pretty good. The Pineapple Quencher literally tasted like regular Welch’s Pineapple Juice lol. But it was still delicious and complimented the meal really well. The other times I’ve tried, Jollibee, I had order their, 2pc Spicy Chickenjoy, and on another occasion I had ordered their Spicy Chicken Deluxe Sandwich. Both were terrific. I really couldn’t recommend, Jollibee, highly enough. The food is so damn good and the amount of food they give you is exceptional. The next time you pass a, Jollibee, and have time. Def check this place out for some great fried chicken!

P.S.- THEIR BROWN GRAVY IS INSANE!!!!!!
Dunk the fried chicken into the brown gravy and thank me later
