This is a great place both for Breakfast or Lunch. They also sell pies to take home. All the servers are friendly and attentive. My husband and I come frequently for a great meal. I switch my selection almost every time and haven’t had a single bad meal.

Went on Sunday and got the Chicken fried chicken for me and grilled chicken for the wife. The chicken fried chicken was very rubbery. Almost chewy tasted bad. The macaroni and cheese was cold. The only good thing was the cornbread. The wife’s grilled chicken was watery and had enough salt for ten meals. Service girls were good. Overall will not be going back.

This was our second time here. First was for supper. Today was breakfast. The food was so-so at best. The coffee was barely warm, my toast was burnt on the ends. We got a 2 egg plate, 1 egg and waffle plate and a breakfast burrito plate, and 3 coffees. It was $55!! We’ll never eat here again

Awesome chicken fried chicken. Excellent breading, good flavor and thickness, perfectly crisp and not hard.
Had some chili fries as an appetizer which was pretty great. Chili feels like it’s from a can, but the fries are fantastic. Would order again and highly recommend fries as you me side. Next time ask for onions and sour cream.
They have a bunch of fresh made pies that look pretty awesome. Just wish I had saved some room. We will be back.

We tried this place on a recommendation from some friends. We arrived and were greeted and seated right away. Our server came and got drink order. Upon our servers return with our drinks, the server then got our food order. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak and my partner ordered the Belgium Waffle with eggs and bacon and a side of sausage. The Chicken Fried Steak was cook perfectly and the white gravy was very delicious, ordered a side of brown gravy which was also very delicious, the eggs were cooked to perfection and the hashbrowns were very crispy. The Belgium Waffle was cooked perfectly and very delicious as were the eggs, bacon and sausage. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. This is a great place for breakfast or lunch. The restaurant was clean as were the restrooms. Cannot wait to return.

So fantastic! We always catch a real Texas breakfast here on any occasion we’re in Dallas area (Garland). Today’s waitperson was beyond awesome. Sorry I didn’t catch her name so as to compliment her here.

Disappointing experience, after confirming our order twice, the wrong entree and side were brought out, the eggs were overdone and the corn bread was dry. Our server didn’t check on us again after the mess up and we were ignored after politely informing of the multiple mistakes.
We were left with a I don’t know how long it will take to remake your order, maybe 5 minutes. It took a little over 10 minutes. When we did get the replacement it was still missing an item.
The chicken fried chicken was in a puddle of grease.
Management did speak to us but the hassle of it wasn’t worth the quality of the meal. While I do recognize that bad days happen, we’ll likely skip Hubbards for awhile due to the experience.

Great brunch place with friendly staff, and reasonable prices. Deducted 1 star due to the fluctuating quality of food: sometimes the chicken fried steak is too salty and other times bland. Other than that, this place is worth the money if you want big servings and willing to wait for your food as it takes a little bit long even when the place isn’t busy (they have notices and disclaimers regarding this at the entrance).
