Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

My fiance is a Big Back she loves food and when she’s off she loves coming to work with me. Whataburger was on route that take going to work and she just wanted to stop to get something to eat. The only thing she was talking about was a Patty Melt Sandwich so I got her that with French Fries and a Sprite and Myself I got a Double Cheeseburger and Onion Rings and Water oh Yes My Apple Pie….. Whataburger Food is always Delicious and the customer service was outstanding … Guess What she’s off again tomorrow So we’re be back there tomorrow morning Whataburger

I didn’t use the bathroom but all the tables, counters, and I could see of the kitchen was clean. I think it was shift change because the here were a lot of staff milling around socializing. Service was swift, pleasant, yet the food was really slow to come–BUT, the server apologized. Good enough. The double cheese burger was hot, tasty and made like someone likes burgers because the cheese was melted! Not as pretty as the menu photo, but good lettuce and tomato slices. Another check mark for good manager. I might very welcome back.

Love there fries and shakes. One of the few fast food places that you can actually drink a shake through a straw. Most places give you a straw and spoon because they know you are going to get lockjaw and a brain aneurysm if you don’t give up on the straw and go with the spoon . As for the food I won’t give them 5 stars though until they leave the mushroom Swiss burger on the menu. Tired of the seasonal promotion junk.

Never order biscuits and sausage gravy from this location they never give you the sausage only gravy with a biscuit this has happened on several occasions and then they will not answer the phone or fix it. Please, hire people who can read and not assume!! Never again will I order from this location and again same problem on several occasions!!! Managers nor team members are doing their job if so it wouldn’t happen on occasion after occasion!

This whataburger is extremely slow. Don’t come here if you’re in a rush. Took 22 minutes to get food in drive thru this morning and all I ordered was a honey butter chicken biscuit meal. Food wasn’t even fresh for the wait I incurred.

came thru the drive thru and got a chicken fajita taco however when i left i noticed that they shorted me on the peppers and there was only 4 peppers total on it, i also got fries that were no salt, but by the time they waited to give them to me they were cold, the lady told me that every store portioned then differently and then refused to remake my taco “because it takes 6 minutes to make it, im not gonna remake it again” and then she tried to tell me i come here every night and complain like no girl i specially haven’t came because ur staff is rude i have a whole voice memo of this girls interaction with me it’s wild, she’s basically wanted me to eat the taco that i already touched and wanted to put everything in the microwave it was completely disrespectful to the customer and i would not recommend this location at all fr

The drive-thru is awful. They have people pull forward so that your blocked in. I sat for 15 minutes with my food waiting for the cars in front of me to get their food. They need a better system

Worse mistake ever. Our online order was supposed to be ready between 7:42 pm and 7:45 pm. It was not given to us until 8:12 pm. We drove home only to discover they gave us ‘Melissa’s’ order. Drove back and had them replace our order, which I only got halfway through my burger and it was PINK. Fed it to my dog and went to bed. I’ve been up since 2am sick as can be. We wont be back.
