First time coming here and I’ve been wanting to try it for awhile. The menu is incredible. Love the atmosphere. You can sit at tables or the bar. I had the walleye tacos, which had incredible flavor. My only downside was I sat at the bar and it was very confusing who my server was. There would be a lot of people coming and going behind the bar.But I really didn’t receive any attention. My water never got replenished. Nobody was sure who should take my order. And really had no communication at all. One gentleman from the floor finally took my order. That part was disappointing, but other than that, everything else was great.

Found this place while searching for lunch downtown. We walked in with 6 people and sat down immediately. We were quickly served and did not wait long for food. The food was very good and generous for portion size. Unique offerings like walleye burger smake this place a good stop for local food. It got busy when we left so it looks like this is the place to be in Downtown PR!

We shared a beer cheese burger and cheesy Californian burger. They were both very tasty. Their fries are also good, worththy for upgrade.

If we could give this 10 stars, we would! Everything was perfection! Clean! Servers who refill your water even before it hits the half-glass point! A kitchen surrounded by windows! 4 restrooms! Fireplace! Super cool aesthetic. We tried all the things they are known for: wild rice hotdish (won an award 2 years ago!!!), walleye tacos, and walleye BLT. The wild rice hotdish was the most decadent thing we have ever tasted. It came with a side of crispy, fresh spring greens with a homemade raspberry vinaigrette -unexpectedly THICK like babyfood and so delicious you could eat it as a dessert. And then there’s the drinks! Gorgeous, thoughtful, handcrafted and delicious. If you are there in the summer get the Son of a Peach (photo attached.) Generous portions, fair prices, excellent service. If you are looking for the best place to eat in Park Rapids THIS IS IT!

For far too long, I have not allowed myself to try the food, and I finally did today. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the interior looked and how much I enjoyed the food we shared for a late lunch early dinner.
The prices were reasonable. The food was above average. I want to say that the wild rice hot dish was some of the best I’ve had.
I had bought gift cards for the people that purchased our cabin as I knew this was their favorite place.
Wish I had come in sooner!

We loved our lunch here! We were passing through on a road trip, but we would absolutely eat here regularly if we lived nearby. The walleye in the tacos and BLT was cooked perfectly and was delicious. Prices were reasonable, bathrooms were clean, and parking was easy. The only tiny critique would be that although service was perfectly fine (orders were taken and food was delivered and drinks were refilled in a timely manner), it was not amazing – a tad bit disengaged and not personable at all. It is connected to a cute popcorn place next door.

This just wasn’t as good as the last time I came. The food was OK, but the salad seemed to be just Costco lettuce and a couple cucumbers and carrots on top. Higher prices, too. There was debris on the floor when we got there at 1:30 PM. Maybe it was an off day. I will give it one more try. They have very few vegan or vegetarian options. The salad is about it. The tomato soup contains cream.

Metropolitan elegance in a small town. Stopped for a weekend lunch, upon walking into the restaurant- the set up is impressive. Loved the booths with windows makes eating feel private yet spacious.

Food and drink menu features locally sourced items and house created cocktails featuring items from local and nearby distilleries.

It’s important to note this is a Midwestern restaurant tailoring to Midwestern taste. If your reading any bad reviews – that is a misunderstanding from the perspective of the reviewer.

However our meal was beyond excellent. Fries are cooked to perfection. Food is HOT and hearty Midwest portions. Pictured is the Ruben with battered fries and the Bison Philly with sweet potatoe fries.

Post dinner shopping at Molly Poppins makes this restaurant a great destination.

Stopped in for dinner and really enjoyed the atmosphere and cleanliness of the restaurant. The chicken in one of our dishes was really chewy and undercooked, but the waitress took the $4 upcharge for the chicken off right away. She apologized multiple times and gave us some caramel corn for the road. Her service made up for any of the food issues.
