The waitress and hostess were so sweet and attentive I half expected them to tuck me in and read me a bedtime story. I ordered the omelette breakfast and a salted pecan latte and everything was delicious. And because I clearly have no self-control, I grabbed some no bakes, a muffin and an Oreo cupcake to go. I told myself they were for later. They were not. I regret nothing. Highly recommend if you like good food, kind humans, and accidentally eating dessert in the parking lot.

The wait staff is quick on to serve you. Friendly, lots of smiles and genuine sense of caring and service. Food is excellent. Atmosphere is cordial. Historically, most people do not know that the Cakery was a two bay garage that had two pumps and was a Keystone Gas station. Prices are good.

We order,2 of us,from the Cakery at least once every 2 weeks. A total of 4 times now our order has been wrong,including last night,which was the second time in a row. The error? When ordering,I requested applesauce in place of the mixed vegetables. No applesauce either time. I also ordered cookies last night, 3 molasses and 3 peanut butter. What did I receive? Three with a reeses cup in the middle and three heath cookies. After realizing the order was wrong,I called there. A girl answered “hello”,I had to ask is this the cakery? Who answers a business phone this way? I told her the issue,she put the manager on the phone. I explained the issue. His response was ‘that is not good’. He then took my name and phone number and said the owner will call me. Surprise,surprise, that never happened. What’s the point of having manager who can’t solve problems? They are officially chopped which stinks because we like their food but why spend money at a restaurant that can’t get it right?

New to the area and first time customer. My wife and I wanted to try this place out for our daughter’s birthday. We got 2 pieces of cake. The chocolate cake we received was fine. The vanilla cake was clearly multiple days old and was over-baked initially anyway. It was very dry with poor flavor. There was a new vanilla cake sitting on the counter that I’m sure would have tasted better. We took a couple bites and threw it away.

This place is SO good! We don’t live around here so if you’re reading this, you have to go on my behalf! I had a brown sugar maple pecan muffin and it was the greatest thing I’ve ever tasted. We got meals there too and everything is so fairly priced, we were shocked at how low the bill was for the quantity and quality of food we got. Definitely recommend the avocado chicken sandwich on their homemade wheat bun — we ate our food too fast to even take a picture haha. Our server was so helpful & kind too! We want one of these where we live!

Had a late lunch on Wednesday with a friend. Just stopped here because it was close to where we were. Surprised by the selection, quality and speed while I was there. I dont remember my servers name but she had dark short hair, she was very pleasant and got everything right. The coffee alone has me wanting to come back, cant what to try the baked goods.

Absolutely happy with entire experience. Got chicken and biscuits and a coffee. Food delicious, service speed, attention and courtesy was great. Wide selection of menu items. Before leaving I bought an assortment of stickybuns and cookies. They were so courteous with questions I had about ordering a cake. I look forward to a return visit and ordering a cake for Christmas. Prices very very reasonable. Highly recommend this place.
