What really stood out, though, was the service. We were served by waiter Fernando who was incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional the whole time. He was very helpful, explained the menu patiently, and made sure everything at our table was perfect.
Service like that truly makes the experience even better. Compliments to the team, and especially to him for the excellent service. I will definitely be coming back!
15 minute wait to get a table was ok, as we enjoyed our previous visits.
Nobody offered us drinks or starters. Or even poured water. After 30 minutes, the restaurant had mostly emptied out, and we flagged down another server, and told them we hadnt been offered service yet. The servers were apologetic and polite, and after a while, a third server offered us drinks. We ordered coffee, water. Pita and spinach dip, medium steak, coleslaw, wings fries, ribs., and brisket. There was no brisket left, and that was fine. Coffee arrived with tablespoons, and sugar so chunky, we had to smash it up to get itbto come out.
Cheese dip was great and deep fried pita was also great.
The steak was very disappointing, it was dry, and a far cry past medium. It tasted like overcooked liver.
The wings were not very meaty, but crunchy and dry, which I actually like. Sauce was good
The ribs were all fat and bone, and I abandonded them after I ate 2/3rds of them.
The fries were boring and bland, and there were zero condiments at the table.
The server had brought our food and was leaving, but hadnt given us cutlery.
We skipped dessert, and werent offered coffee refills until we were completely done our meals.
The steak meal was very dry.
The coleslaw was a small portion, and had rather large chunks of cabbage.
I think our previous visits here were considerably better, but something seems to have slipped. I dont know how this place is managed, but nobody there seemed to be management material.
Meal cost $100 plus tip.
Snow removal at entrance is terrible
I really liked the brisket option in appetizers. It was really good.
Tried brisket burger as well.
Good customer service.
Lots of free parking
