A must try if you like Napoletana style pie.

The location is in a bustling party of Fullerton, with a lot of things to do. I went on a weekday night, so the wait time was immediate. I have been when there has been a long wait, and you can always grab a drink nearby while you wait. The location is a proud supporter of Napoli FC, and while I root for another Club, its wonderful to see the influence the club has on the location. The atmosphere is vibrant, with patrons enjoying their food and chatting away.

The food itself is wonderful. The crust was perfectly burnt to my liking, and the toppings on top were savory without a lot of cheese/sauce. My partner obtained a vegetarian style, and while the cheese was a little much, she forked and knifed the pizza to her satisfactory taste. They procure a wonderful seasonal menu as well. Will visit again!

Excellent experience! Pizza was very authentic, and the crust was perfect. The dessert- Spumoni Bomba- was SO GOOD. It’s Neopolitan Gelato (chocolate/pistachio/cherry?) covered in a dark chocolate coating the shape/size of a large orange. The flavors were so bold. Wow. Definitely coming back. Service and atmosphere were excellent.

I walked in and ordered a pizza to go. I ordered the margherita pizza and added hot honey with pepperoni. I asked the person that took my order where I should wait and if I could sit at the bar, she said yes and would let me know when the pizza was ready. I would preface by saying that the place wasn’t busy. They only had a few tables occupied and a couple at the bar top.
I waited about 30-40 minutes and asked the bartender how much longer my pizza would take. He went to the kitchen and came back with my pizza. The pizza was cold and the cheese wasn’t even melted anymore. The cooks looked caught up because they were cleaning and pouring themselves soda from behind the bar.all of the waiters were congregated gossiping on the side of the bar. My pizza had been sitting there for God knows how long. When I told the bartender that the pizza wasn’t even hot anymore he said “well even when I order it fresh, I like to take it home, heat my oven to 400degrees and cook it a little longer”
I honestly was getting off of a 12hr work day and the last thing I wanted to do was cook or fix a pizza. They didn’t offer to remake it or to heat it again in the oven. I took the pizza home and when I pulled the slices, I found that the dough was rolled so thin that the slices looked like someone took a bite out of a few of the pieces in the middle (obviously they weren’t bitten). The pizza was extremely soggy and I had to air fry the pizza to remelt the cheese. Below are photos of the $30 pizza I received. Pizza was not worth money and the service was worse. Will not be going back. Save your money and make yourself Digiorno.

Neat spot! You can enter from the front or back! lol. We had a large group and we ordered 7 pizzas for 9 people and it was definitely overkill haha. We were full at 5 but got two more because people wanted to try other ones. Unfortunately I did not do the ordering so I’m not even sure what we all ate lol.
All the pizzas were pretty good!!! There wasn’t one that I didn’t like. The chicken pesto one was great. They have a lot of unique combinations of toppings lol. They are all pretty thin.
The pizza is kind of expensive though .
But neat spot!!!

We heard about this highly rated Italian restaurant in Fullerton and had to eat there. We had pizza that was wood-fired in an oven that was out of this world! We had a salad and desert. We liked so much we went back later that night for dinner. I will definitely go back to Fuoco Pizzeria Napoletana!

Fuoco Pizzeria Napoletana delivers a truly authentic Neapolitan experience that goes far beyond just pizza — it’s a taste of Naples brought to life. The moment you walk in, you can feel the passion and pride this family has for their craft. The warm ambiance, rustic charm, and Napoli soccer team decorations immediately set the tone — you know you’re somewhere that honors tradition.

I ordered the Margherita Pizza, and it was phenomenal. From the light, airy crust with a slight char, to the rich flavor of San Marzano tomatoes and imported mozzarella, every bite felt honest and handcrafted. You can taste the truth behind what’s written on their menu — that Fuoco means “fire,” and that fire is what makes their pizza authentically Napoletana. The oven itself, hand-built near Naples by artisan Stefano Ferrara using volcanic sand from Mt. Vesuvius and bricks from Campania, is a beautiful story of heritage and dedication.

Their Three Cheese Bar was also exceptional — creamy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Knowing their cheeses are imported weekly from Caserta, Italy, makes every bite even more special.

What really topped off the experience for me was discovering that Fuoco is a family-owned restaurant. The mother, father, son, and daughter all work together, creating an atmosphere that feels welcoming and genuine. You can tell they care deeply about preserving the traditions of Naples and sharing them with their guests.

If you’re looking for an authentic Napoli pizza experience, this is it. Between the food, the family, and the ambiance — Fuoco Pizzeria Napoletana is worth every visit. I’ll definitely be returning to try more of their pizzas.

Kest e’ pizza! This is Pizza.

One of my favorite local spots for authentic Italian pizza in Fullerton! I’ve tried different styles here and love that you can customize to your liking. My favorite add-on is burrata cheese—it makes the pizza extra creamy and delicious. The restaurant has a cozy vibe, service is always friendly, and parking is usually pretty easy with the nearby structure. Highly recommend Fuoco if you’re craving quality Neapolitan pizza!

Maybe I need to come back and try the other pizzas but the capricciosa was a massive disappointment. The tomato sauce was watery, underseasoned and dilute, which made the dough soggy and toppings slide off. The mozzarella was chewy and rubbery. Aggressively mid at best. I’ve made better frozen pizzas at home while half asleep. What saved the experience was that our bartender/server was incredible, and the beer selection was great. Otherwise…just ok.

Authentic Italian Pizza Experience

If you’re curious to taste what authentic Italian pizza should be, Fuoco Pizzeria is the spot to hit. The dough is exceptional—truly one of the best I’ve ever had. Having visited Italy, I can confidently say this place even tops some well-known pizzerias I experienced there.

The restaurant impresses with its ability to serve a large crowd while consistently delivering high-quality food and friendly service. Dinner here is an enjoyable, lively experience, with an encouraging selection of good wines to pair with your meal.

While the ambiance could use a little polishing, it still manages to add to the overall charm of the evening. If you’re after genuine Italian flavors and an energetic dining atmosphere, Fuoco Pizzeria definitely won’t disappoint.

Fuoco is absolutely delicious and a must try. I’ve been here a couple of times and I always recommend it to friends who end up loving it as well. The pizza here is just such good quality with high quality ingredients made. You can taste the difference in comparison to other pizza places.

This place does get busy though! Some days the wait can be an hour but it’s totally worth it, whether it’s for a date night or family/friends night.
