Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Circa-1950 fast-food chain for counter-serve burgers, some stacked with multiple patties.

Evelyn is by far the kindest, most professional, and genuinely pleasant person I’ve encountered at this location and honestly, at any fast-food drive-thru in a very long time. From the moment she took my order, her tone was warm, patient, and respectful. She made me feel like a valued customer instead of just another car in line.
I understand she’s new, but she already sets an incredible standard for customer service. One positive interaction may seem small, but it truly made my day and changed how I feel about coming back through this drive-thru. Evelyn is a real asset, and I hope she gets the recognition she deserves.
Thank you, Evelyn, for reminding me what great customer service feels like.
This place used to be a wreck for grabbing a bite late at night…to put it nicely. It got so bad that I’ve changed my mind and went elsewhere more than a handful of times. Give the management props for making changes and bringing in the A team. A few weeks ago I came back and there was Eddie with a simple smile and good attitude. My order was correct, sauces were all there (it used to be missing ALL the time), food was hot and fresh and neatly packed like they actually care. I was like ok.. maybe it’s a fluke but happy to try again. Same thing tonight. You guys won me back.
Update: Little change.
