I enjoy fruitcake. Collin’s St Bakery are masters of the fruitcake universe. They’ve been around over 100 years! Their downtown location is worth taking the time for a diversion, it’s a charming vintage bakery cafe fronting the fruitcake factory. There’s an H‑E‑B grocery store across the street & some historic churches. If you venture downtown you’ll see a wonderful array of boutiques & shops. Their south location is a quick exit off & back in the freeway. At either location; get their signature chicken salad sandwich on their pecan bread, & sample & buy their fruitcake. It is a Texas institution marked by the logo on their tins that features a lovely snowy Victorian scene slashed by an image of a Texas cowboy! You can’t help but love it!

Love this place! Their chicken salad sandwich is one of my all-time favorites — fresh, flavorful, and served with that hometown Texas touch. The pecan bread is another must-have; I can’t ever leave without grabbing a loaf (or two) to take home.

And I have to admit… I used to make fun of fruitcakes for years — until I tried their world-famous version. Now I get the hype! It’s moist, nutty, and downright delicious.

From the friendly staff to the nostalgic charm inside, this bakery is a true Texas treasure that’s been “family owned since 1896” for good reason. If you’re passing through Corsicana, make the stop — you’ll be glad you did! ❤️

I had such a wonderful experience thanks to Kamryn, Lexi, and Megan! They were all so friendly right when i walked through the door also helpful, and genuinely kind — it really made my visit special. The cookies were absolutely delicious, and the coffee was amazing — perfect combination! I even got to share some stories about how i used to pass by with my mom when i was young and in my early twenties I Worked in the back making fruitcakes …mmmmm delicious. They were so nice and interested in listening. I’ll definitely be back — can’t wait for more great coffee, cookies, and friendly smiles! Oh and Fruitcake

Tried this place after several recommendations and the bread was amazing! There is a small cafe that serves soups, sandwiches and salads that are reasonably priced and fresh! Great place for lunch.

It’s hard for me to write a bad review… BUT… my grandmother (nearly 90yrs old) ordered my husband and I 2 cheesecakes in the first week of Dec. she ended up getting the run around on the order forever. Thurs Jan 22, 2026 I was notified that the package was on its way via USPS. Now, this was a frozen weekend for Austin, the mail delivery was delayed- but then Monday was MLK Jr day… so the package left their facility on Thursday and was not delivered to us (2hrs away) until Wednesday noonish. Upon arrival we opened it to find no ice packs, just 1 cheesecake wrapped in an insulated sheet. My husband opened the box, we checked the temp- it was 65 degrees. This was only 1 cheesecake. I still had not received a message at this point about the second. I called to inform them that their shipping was not packaged correctly and one employee said she would reship (mind you- this was AFTER I explained to her that we received our first pie at room temp). She THEN called back and said since the package hadn’t been sent, there was no need to replace. I will assume she is speaking about the second as I was holding the first. I called back- another woman said that they don’t typically send things on a Thursday or Friday so they aren’t delayed but somehow this slipped through. She offered to overnight us a replacement at no cost. Again, this was Wednesday noonish. On Friday we received a message that the cheesecake had shipped UPS. We checked the tracking number on Saturday and it said it would be delivered. We checked with UPS and they said they wouldn’t deliver on a Saturday as Collin St Bakery did not pay for Saturday delivery. So again, the cheesecake sat in the truck all weekend, not being delivered until today (Monday). The 2nd cheesecake was also sent today, that one was sent USPS and was sent out on 12/30. What do you know, we opened the boxes and BOTH cheesecakes were 64+ degrees and had NO ice packs in the boxes!! We are over it. Had grandma call to get her refund and told CSB to keep their cheesecakes. This has absolutely been the WORST experience I’ve ever had with any company. To put all of that stress on my grandmother JUST to only be refunded after 2 months of monkey business. And somewhere in all of that, we find out today that they were out of Icepacks. Why even send things if you cannot properly package things! There is such thing as “too big for your britches”… maybe you’ve outgrown yourself. Thanks for nothing CSB.

What an unexpected pleasure. We stopped here on a recent Sunday afternoon drive through Corsicana. Online directions stated a deli counter was open — that’s all we needed to hear. My mom grew up in nearby Henderson County and was always talking about the “famous” fruitcakes made here. Parking was a breeze. Short line inside to order — with a line that strategically meandered by shelves of yummy baked goods & breads. We bought some cookies & bread in addition to our three sandwich combos. I absolutely loved my turkey sandwich on bacon cheese bread – fresh, filling and tasty. If one slows down to engage & read some of the exhibits displayed on the walls — you quickly gain an understanding of the rich history of this bakery and its importance to the Corsicana community. BTW — both indoor & patio seating options for your quick lunch break.

Amazing !! I saw so many sweets I wanted !! But we narrowed it down to cupcakes and cookies ! We were all so undecided because everything looks so delicious. This was our first time here, they gave us free samples, and everyone was so very friendly ! We would definitely be back when we are visiting the area. Oh before I forget my grandchildren, got free cookies, super sweet. We were not disappointed everything was delicious !!

I have nothing but incredible things to say about this bakery. I have gone in every year for a cake for a very dear occasion to me. Megan has handled my cake order for the past two years and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Megan is quite literally an angel on this Earth. She has made sure the cake is just right. The new cake gentleman had me in tears with his creation, I wish I knew his name. I will not go to any other place but here for my cake. Megan and I share a few things in common and she has made me feel truly special and loved every time I come in. Hold Megan close because she is someone very special. Thank you Collin Street 7th Ave for taking such great care of me.

Wow!!! I am beyond impressed and in love with this bakery and the employees that work in the little bake shop… my experience started by being greeted and then waited on by Lexi. she was very warm and helpful. I told her that i was interested in ordering a cake.. I had something very specific in mind and to be sure I got exactly what I wanted she insisted that she grab a coworker to further assist my needs… Donna not only listened to what I envisioned and wanted she made me feel confident that I would get exactly what I was looking for!!!! And let me tell you… SHE DELIVERED on what I was wanting and DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!!! I’m so over the mood happy with the turn out!!!! I will DEFINITELY be back to get ALL my customs cakes through Donna!!! Very well done!!!!
