At MasFajitas, we take great pride in preparing from scratch our Salsas, Guacamole, Beans, Pico de Gallo, Shredded Chicken, Ground Beef, and much more. The history of MasFajitas started in 1997 when brothers Albert and Mario Sorto learned at their uncle’s restaurant in Houston many of the great recipes we serve today. They took their knowledge and hard work to open the first MasFajitas location in Caldwell in 1997. There are now 7 locations in central Texas: Caldwell, Taylor, Round Rock, Georgetown, Killeen, Temple and College Station. One thing has remained consistent during these decades of hard work, their passion for fresh and flavorful food everyday!

Our experience with Mas Fajitas Catering was absolutely wonderful! We live out of town and needed catering for a group of 30 for a special celebration this past week in College Station. I had started looking for caterers several months ago, and I had initially contacted 3 different Mexican restaurants in the area with our requests. Jenn Dixon, Catering Manager for Mas Fajitas, had replied promptly! (The other 2 restaurants~ one had replied 2 weeks later and the other we never heard a reply.) Jenn’s timely response was appreciated! She was very helpful and took care of all the details! She had emailed an itemized quote within the hour of our inquiry and continued to follow up with every question or concerns we had in a timely, reassuring, and professional manner. Being out of town I didn’t know what to expect really, but Jenn exceeded our expectations! She continued to stay in contact via email and phone for any clarifications or needs. On the day of our event, the food was delivered right on time and we received everything we ordered. We had mixed fajitas and all the sides with plenty to feed our large group of 30! The food was so good!! We were thankful for such great service and great food! Will not hesitate to visit this restaurant when we come back to town, and you will not be disappointed working with Jenn for your next catering event! My experience was at their location inside Bluebell park. When they first opened that location it was one of the better options in the park but that is no longer the case. The $18 quesadilla was actually 3/4 of a quesadilla, and included a few small bits of chicken and cheese between the tortilla and a small bit of beans and rice. No salsa is available. No guacamole is available. No chips are available. Just a small portion of bland chicken and cheese for $18. High prices are expected inside a ballpark but there is no excuse for the low quality.

If you find yourself in need of food catering – please look no further than MasFajitas. I reached out to Jenn Westfall and she took amazing care of us. We are were presenting to a client in College Station and need fajitas for 12 plus some vegetarian options. Jenn developed a great, affordable and delicious menu for us. Even eating an hour later (after we presented) the food was still amazing!.

First, I never leave reviews at restaurants so this is a first. Our first time here and this was probably the worst food we’ve ever had. Chips left oil film in mouth. Salsa was just blended up chunky tomatoes. Guacamole was old and brown. Tortillas were not homemade. Beef fajitas had no flavor and were very underwhelming. Poor waiter was trying his best to run our whole section which was more than 10 tables. Lady in charge (seemed like manager or lead) was yelling at staff across the restaurant. Overall, not impressed and will not be back.

This place was awesome, great team working here. You can tell a lot of them must go to the local college. Everyone was friendly and hustling with the Cinco de Mayo crowd. They handled it seamlessly, our wait was not that bad considering and our server was very intentive. The food was excellent, I was told that portions in Texas were substantial and this was not an exception. The quality of the food was great, and I left completely satisfied. There are a few of these restaurants but this particular one is fantastic.
