The impetus for the revamp was new ownership. Yes, the rumors are true… Valentino’s Restaurant Group which began in NE Baltimore city has now come to Harford County!
The food is better than ever, with highlights being the seafood pastas, the jumbo lump crab cakes, the grilled lamb chops, artisan handhelds and the breakfast choices served-all day. Whether you are dining in or picking up carry-out do not forget the dessert!

First time visit for us as it was highly recommended. Dined there on a Sunday mid afternoon…so it was busy, but not packed yet. We enjoyed our meal, the food and the atmosphere ( which is simple and casual, but nice).
They have an extensive menu. The food is good. Service level is in line with the restaurant level. A tad pricey ( and we do enjoy Michelin level dining so we are used to spending $ for outstanding meals)…but still relatively reasonable. Definitely a good go to restaurant for a good meal and dining experience. Dessert was delish.

We had the best experience here today! It was our first time here yet we have passed by this restaurant for over 3 years! I have been reading reviews about this place and so we gave it a try today. It did not disappoint! I had the lasagna with a side of meatballs. My husband had the chicken parm. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious! The restaurant was very spacious, open and clean. The restaurant staff were very professional and attentive. So many things to choose from on the menu. That means we’ll definitely be back!

Good first experience, we were staying over in the area and got in late. They are open until 3AM and only a few patrons at 11 PM on a Friday, however they were very attentive and friendly, lots of small groups arriving while we were there. Food was very good, lots of menu options and quick service.

One of the best Crab Cakes I had while visiting APG for the last 40 years. Glad I went had the calamari 2 days later very good better than most high end joints. Crab Chowder not my type to thick not enough crab flavor puréed not hardy. Service was good.

Just finished eating here, but won’t call it dinner. My first try tonight. I ate Army food for decades so not hard to please but I won’t be going back! Did they give the cook off and let the wait staff have a go at cooking or what! Paid $70 for veal that tasted like thin tough steak smothered in hot ketchup. The mash potato tasted like it had no seasoning in it. I told the waitress the food wasn’t that good and she smiled and asked if I wanted a to go box or anything else! For the first time in my life I almost left my leftovers there. But it was $70. So I took my veal with 2 bites & mashed potatoes with one spoon eaten home. If I can’t spice it up at home I won’t eat it. I can cook better than this at home and know nothing about Italian food. Y’all come to my place,

Why 2 STARS?
First-time visitors today and LAST! The wife and I stopped in for lunch, and when I received my bill, a %15 gratuity was INCLUDED in the total. I don’t think this is the right way to run a “Service” business (My opinion). I spoke to the manager and she said “Sorry, we get a lot of complaints about it” but the owner doesn’t care basically. Now, let me say I was disappointed by this response, mostly because we had a pleasant experience. The food was good, the restaurant was nice and our server was GREAT. Even with the gratuity included in my bill and the conversation with the manager, I have our server a cash tip directly, so hopefully, the OWNER and Uncle Sam don’t dip into his pockets deeper.

I’m the Executive Chef of an Award-Winning restaurant, and food and service from the Venetian has consistently been amazing. When we went for my birthday dinner during a snow storm a year ago, the server made us feel like VIPs. I’ve ordered in and gotten take out often. I even ordered tonight, 10 minutes before closing And our meals are still just as delicious!

My husband & I are new to the state of Maryland & took a chance ordering from Venetian. We just ordered a bunch of appetizers & just from eating the appetizers we both thoroughly enjoyed everything. The oysters & clams were fresh & tender. The cheesesteak egg rolls were perfect as well as the Arancini. Buffalo wings & Parm truffle fries were very tasty & wings weren’t overcooked or dry. The only disappointment was the Ravioli Tostati, it was soft & tasteless like it was cooked from a frozen state. Otherwise everything was just perfect & kudos to the Chef & kitchen staff for providing an excellent tasting of various appetizers. Will definitely visit again!

Haven’t been here in years! Stopped for breakfast today. Place has been remodeled nicely. Warm, up-to-date atmosphere. Lots of room. We ordered breakfast. Hot and Delicious. Service was good. My biggest issue was that they “leave” your tip on the receipt for you. I’ve never been in a restaurant that did this for a party of 2. I think it’s a bad idea. I was going to leave my normal 20%, but since management decided to automatically add 15% ,I left it off.
Granted, there was another line to add additional, tip, but I’d like to not feel like I’m forced into tipping a certain amount.
