Loved this spot. Service was fast, friendly, and on point from the start. The food was amazing super fresh, super yummy, no complaints at all. Drinks were just as good; the beer was fresh and the glass was ice-cold, which honestly made it perfect. Such a great place to hit before a movie, after, or just when you’ve got free time. No long wait, great vibes, solid food and drinks. Definitely coming back.

This is maybe the 7th time we have been there and we still love it. The food is awesome and the Chef was great. He gave us a great food show. The staff is really good. Before you run out of water they come out of nowhere and fill it up. It might not be a big deal for some but for us is great. The restaurant was very clean and nice. Sorry no pictures of the food. Yea Yea I was hungry okay . Next time okay, we will be back . If you haven’t been there you really need to go. They have sea food, steak, chicken and Sushi . Great for big groups and those who love to be loud.

We had a family holiday party of which we enjoyed very much. The Hibachi server Leilani was fantastic, professional, and serviced us with a huge smile. She also took other tables and we didn’t feel neglected at all. The food and Chef entertained us completely and we walked out full and stoked to return considering our great experience. I went out for dinner with my family, including two small kids, and unfortunately this was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had. The hibachi chef was great and entertaining, although the seating was extremely cramped. The extra food that came out was tasty—until things took a terrifying turn.
While eating my hibachi, I suddenly felt something sharp poke the roof of my mouth. I wasn’t eating anything crunchy, so I tried chewing again and felt the same sharp poke. When I spit it out, I was horrified to find a piece of wire—likely from a wire brush—mixed in with my food. I was shocked and immediately worried, especially because my kids had already been eating.
None of us could continue eating after that, and of course we didn’t want to take anything home. No staff member came over to check on us; we had to bring it up ourselves to the host at the front. The only response we received was a $10 discount and no genuine apology, which felt extremely dismissive given how dangerous swallowing a wire can be.
I’m very thankful it was me who found it and not one of my children.
I will not be returning, and I cannot recommend this place to anyone.

We had a really great time here. We have been here many times for the hibachi Dinner cooked right in front of you.. And every time we come, it’s great, lots of food comes with the deal. Great little show, awesome cocktails. You can even get sushi or whatever you want. entertaining Way to have dinner as a group. We always have a great time here.Great people great location, Right near the movie theater and lots of fun shopping for after dinner activity to walk it off. Food is good atmosphere is cool. But not enough to get me to ever come back. The customer service and professionalism are horrible. We made online reservation for a birthday dinner. Two times they called us to push time to an earlier time. Only call us a third time to cancel our reservation 3hrs before we are set to arrive. Leaving us to scrabble to find a different restaurant. We tried to explain the situation and they weren’t very sympathetic. They couldn’t care less.

I have yet to have a bad experience at Ooka. This was my 4th time going and I have to say….it is better than shogun!! Their noodles are so good they’re addicting!
When I visit, I always order the deluxe (filet, shrimp, scallions). Not pictured is the salad and clear soup. The salad dressing is so tasty and the mushroom soup is a great starter.
I love the teppanyaki because you get SO MUCH FOOD! I easily get two meals from this one trip because of how filling the meal is.
This place is amazing to go to for celebrations or just on days you’re very hungry. Ambiance and service are both great.
My only complaint is if you do not have a big party with you, you get crammed in with strangers and don’t have much personal space to yourself. Other than that, this is a must visit!!
