The shrimp egg rolls are filled with large chunks of shrimp inside and the texture is light and crispy. The sesame chicken had a sweet toasted sesame flavor and it’s tangy with a hint of spiciness. The salt and pepper tofu was a great vegetarian option. The sweetness of the pineapple goes well with the peppers and onions. The BBQ pork fried rice and pad thai were legit good. Large chunks of meat in both the fried rice and the pad thai. The grilled pork in the Com Tam was very tender and the egg yolk on top added the perfect creaminess to go with the rice. I’m bummed I didn’t get a chance to try their singapore noodles. We will definitely go back again!

We ordered 2 large (Pho Dac Biet and Bun Bo Hue) and 1 small (Bun Rieu) portions. But they looked not much different. The large portions were like the small portions with extra broth in larger bowls. The taste was fine, not special or good as we expected. Maybe we should try different ones.

My friends loved the Pho, but it is a tad bit salty for me. I like other Pho places better because other places’ Pho has a stronger beef and spices flavor. Other places’ Pho’s meats are more tender too.
Bun Rieu: tried it back in May. salty, portion was way too small for the price. The noodles broke apart a lot. I’ve had better at other places
Bun bo hue: doesn’t taste authentic but good flavor and has a nice spicy kick

The restaurant decor is pretty with the mural and lotus lighting. The grilled chicken platter was good but there wasn’t any dressing on the salad. I ordered the Mama’s bbq drumstick platter. It was fine but since they put the salad on the same plate as the chicken and rice, the dressing ran all over everything. The salad should be served in a separate dish. The honeydew boba tea was overly sweet and not enough ice for me.

The portion is very disappointing. Husband and I both order the large portions (pho dat biet and bon bu hue noodle). Both noodle portions are like small so if you like soup then you should definitely come here but if you want your soup and noodle worth the take your business somewhere else.

Thank you Hoom and your staff for such an amazing experience on my wife’s and I anniversary. My wife is Vegan and I am not, so the fact that not only was the food amazing and your staff was patiently taking my wife’s special (lol) order but the atmosphere was incredible for time spent away from the kids together. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of my wife’s dietary needs. ❤️❤️❤️. The prices were great, well within our budget, so good now she asked me to stop on my way from work before I get home with her special order. The fact that when I come in and the staff recognizes me and ask are we preparing your wife’s special order and they remember it is amazing and so pleasing to me. Love this family establishment and recommend it for as visitors to the Twin Cities area and Vegans as well❤️❤️❤️!

I’ve ordered a few times before but have never experienced something so disgusting from them or any other restaurant when I found, not a strand, but a chunk of hair in my food buried under the chicken after eating multiple bites.

My family took me here for Father’s Day. Judging from the clientele, mostly oriental, this place must be authentic. I had the server – Jennifer – order for me. I do this a lot – and this was one of the best surprise meals I have ever had. See attached picture of a half eaten plate of Walnut Shrimp. Being an older gentleman, most servers tend to stick with old standards, like Chow Mein. I never anticipated Walnut Shrimp, but it was so good it was necessary to fight off family members who wanted second and third “just another tastes” after sharing with them. Wife had stir fry vegetables, very good, and one kid had the special with garlic chicken, egg roll, and whatever else came with it – a good value. The food came out from the kitchen as soon as it was done – not all at once. Rest rooms were clean with paper towel dispensers, not blow dryers, and the parking was good.

Lotus has the best Pho I ever had. My favorite is the shrimp one and it’s so delicious and flavorfull. I have been getting take out here for several months now and it tastes great everytime! Highly recommend!

Vietnamese noodle salad is my favorite meal. Order it all the time. Woke up this morning craving it really bad, ordered some for pick up. Didn’t taste as awesome as it normally does today. Called the restaurant asking if they could have it remade, not only did they remake it, they refunded me, and explained that the chef who made the first one was new and still learning. Every time I’m there the customer service is 10/10. On a side note, Please tell whatever chef that was working closing on April 3rd that I love them. That was the first time I ordered the noodle salad and I still think about it every day. It had so much flavor. They have the hands of GOD. Pic from the first time I ordered it. Whatever they are getting paid, it’s not enough. In fact the food was so good that night that even though I spilled the boba all over my backseat on the way home, I couldn’t bring myself to pull myself away from the meal to run and clean my car once I got home.
