My family has been eating from here for years. Usually we order take out and always had a great experience using their app to order and to see status of when the food is ready to pick up and when I arrive the food is waiting on me. This time we dined in and the service from Mia was great. Quick and attentive. And of course the food was delicious that my picky kids ate everything. 5 stars every time.

I’ve dined in several times for lunch, but often order ahead and pickup/togo. The restaurant is a very comfortable for dining in and having conversation, not too loud. Staff are very pleasant and friendly.
The ingredients are fresh and everything is a great value for the price. There are lots of lunch and dinner boxes to choose from, same with combos and side items. Plenty of vegetarian rolls and options if you don’t eat meat.
The parking lot can be quite chaotic depending on the time of day that you come (lunch/mid day especially). But stalls further away from the restaurant open up quickly.

I enjoy my visits to Sushi On in Port Coquitlam. A wonderful fusion Japanese restaurant. Fun and interesting named rolls, spacious comfortable seating. A great place to enjoy a delicious meal. Easy access free parking.

I put in a to go order at 2pm for pick up around 6pm and I still had to wait over 20 minutes when I got to the restaurant. I try to put the order in early so the restaurant can see how big it is and maybe prep for it? But no, I wasted my time by ordering at sushi on and by coming in on time. Their food is decent, but I would not trust their punctuality for take out. Other sushi places I’ve ordered from are always on time. I’m pretty sure they forgot about my order.

Overall the sushi is average but good enough. The sashimi bento box had a nice variety of foods and the portions were good. The tempura is a bit on the more oily side and the sushi rice is on the drier side here and a bit too hard for my liking. The salmon skin in the BC roll was not crispy and there could have been more. It’s okay and not bad.

The presentation was clean and aesthetic, and everything tasted as good as it looked. The staff were friendly and efficient, and service was quick even during peak hours. I especially loved their specialty rolls—they had a creative twist while still respecting traditional flavors. Definitely a great spot whether you’re dining in or ordering takeout. This was an awesome lunch. It’s hard to find an accessible quality sushi place and this was it. Tempura was 100% on point, served hot, crispy, very light oil like it should be. Nigiri cuts were perfect. Service was great, professional, quick. Wish I’d have known about here sooner. Keep up the great work team! You have a new Sushi On fan.

I dont mind if food takes awhile on a friday, but when Im told my order will be ready for pickup in 40 mins, then arrive and be told it will be another 15 mins, then stand around for that 15 and another 10, its not cool. Be honest about timings. Offer me an open seat. At least 3 others going through the same thing. Doesnt help that they forgot the sauce for our tempura too. Your food is great, but I seriously need to reconsider this place when the service keeps getting worse.
