Went for lunch around 11:15am. Not crowded. Took a while for a waitress to come a greet us to the point where we had to stop someone walking by and ask for a waitress. The girl was nice enough to take our drink order and told us our waitress would bring out the drinks. Some time later.. the waitress came around and took our order. I ordered the bourbon street steak med rare. On the menu it says 8oz steak served with sautéed mushrooms and onions with garlic mash. That’s what I wanted with a salad. At least 20 mins pass and I got my salad.. it was delicious. Another 20 to 25 mins later we asked about our food bc we are on the lunch hour. While waiting something fell from the air duct or ceiling onto my friends head. We mentioned it to the waitress and she got the manager…. He just came and picked it up .. didn’t apologize or see if my buddy was good or okay…weird. When my plate was put in front of me I smelled seafood. I didnt order seafood. I didn’t want to complain for the simple fact I didn’t have time to send my plate back and wait another 20mins for them to correct the issue. I did tell the waitress there was shrimp on my plate showing her the menu of what I ordered and what I got in front of me and she said my plate came with shrimp and proceeded to laugh while I’m telling her I didn’t want to be charged for the shrimp I didn’t ask for. The steak was definitely not 8oz. I’ve had a 6oz steak at outback that was bigger than this. This was not the best place for lunch. Maybe for a happy hour if you have time to spare. Would not recommend the steak or the tea. The tea was cloudy and had a funny taste. I did not eat the shrimp that was on my plate. This place has been renovated nicely but too cold – take a jacket.

Although my order was wrong, my food was great, nonetheless. I ordered the Parmesan Encrusted Steak and Shrimp, but received the regular steak instead. It was cooked to my liking, even though I wasn’t asked how I wanted it cooked.
This is a great concept and creates a cool atmosphere. All IHOPs should convert to this business model.

We went in for pancakes & walked out with new friends. This Applebee’s/Ihop was bumpen…
Bring the whole family & they love kids and senior citizens. Gabby was our waitress, but other waitresses were bringing us coffee refills & the bus boy with the head band was the hardest working busser that I have ever seen. This establishment runs like a machine. For those of you who know me, you know that we know about professional FINE DINING SERVICE. This place gets the hightest score.

I had an exquisite afternoon at the applebees ihop on 9911 i-10 w, the service was quick paced but attentive and the food was delicious. Not to mention my grandmother started choking on her boneless wing and our server ran out of the kitchen and performed a heimlich maneuver on her. She saved her life. I would 100% come back with my family of 7.

You know every time that I’ve gone.. it always seems slow! Which for me is absolutely I enjoy this particular location more because maybe I’ve just found the right time to go! The wait staff has always been kind. And a good occasion, you can hear the kitchen staff and other employees laughing and working with each other! That makes for much goodness inside the restaurant! Well I’m hooked and will frequent this location as much as I can! Thanks!

Last night, we went to the IHOP/Applebee’s off I-10 and Wurzbach for dinner, and our server, Shania G., was outstanding. We loved the new setup, and the holiday menu was fantastic. I ordered the chicken sandwich with ranch and waffle fries. The fries were an upcharge but even better than Chick-fil-A because they’re seasoned, too! The fried chicken was juicy with the perfect amount of batter, providing that mouth-watering crunch fried chicken lovers want. To those working last night and today: thank you for showing up! We appreciate you and are tipping much higher than usual to show our gratitude
