We were sat on the dining room side, but they also had a bar and lounge side. The Maryland crab was decent, but it felt like the veggies were not cooked enough, but there was a nice flavor. I had the Wisconsin burger with bacon, which I really enjoyed. Others in my party had the chicken Alfredo and the pick two special with crab legs and scampi. The crab legs were very good, and I liked how they kept the butter warm for you. The prices were also reasonable for what we ordered, which was refreshing.

Bay City is a shell of its former self. If you went here in the 90s or even the 2000s and plan on going again… DON’T. It is not good anymore. Super slow service, small seafood portions, and very expensive.
We came here on June 25, 2024, for my mother’s birthday. There were 6 of us and we had a reservation. They called us at 5:15pm to tell us we missed our reservation that was not till 6:00pm, so right off the bat that was a bad sign. Our actual dining experience was a painful 2 hours long because the service was so slow. However long you expect a normal restaurant to take to service a table… triple it, that was how slow it was.
I do not blame this bad service fully on our waitress however, because she was a very nice elderly woman and she was obviously the only server for the entire dining room side of the restaurant. However, that being said, she did make some poor choices, like waiting to bring us condiments for our main course until after she visited all the other tables and not checking in on us where she was in the area. And while this one woman was working the entire dining room there were 2 girls in the lobby at check-in doing absolutely nothing since almost no one else came in the whole time. And another girl was dedicated to busing tables, but again there was no one here so she was doing basically nothing. The whole 2 hours we were sitting around waiting for something… anything to eat or drink, there were a total of only 3 other tables in the entire dining room.
The one and only good thing I have to say was that when the food actually arrived, it tasted OK and it was actually hot. However, the portions were very small, and they are very skimpy on the actual seafood. I cannot believe I paid $30 for 3 stuffed shrimp that were the size of something you get at a carnival. My wife had shrimp Alfredo and there were literally only 3 shrimp in her whole bowl. Our drinks were empty pretty much the entire time and we were never checked in on just to see if things were OK or if we needed anything.

Excellent food, a great selection of beer and a very reasonable price. I had the sautéed soft shelled crab, and it was really outstanding. The garden salad was fresh and the beer was served with a frosty cold glass. It doesn’t get better than this. They have a beautiful outside patio too. I’m definitely going back soon.

The food was absolutely amazing! Drinks are strong (Lemon drop martini 10/10) I loved the crab cake, I am originally from Baltimore and this is one of the best I’ve ever had. Betsy our waitress was so kind and treated us right. Highly recommend!!

It was our first time here at this restaurant. We came on a Friday evening for dinner and were seated right away. The decorations and atmosphere were on point with the theme. Our waiter was very attentive and refilled our drinks with no wait time. Large food menu with daily specials. They also have outdoor seating and they have live entertainment as well. I got the crabcake and it was delicious, lots of crabmeat in it. The shrimp and crab pasta was another hit as well, very delicious with large portions. The orange crushes there were fabulous and well priced. Will definitely be back, thank you

Food was delicious, but overpriced for the portion size. (My plate was almost $30 and the main course was about the size of my fist. It was so good though, and I could have eaten twice that amount.) The fish was cooked to perfection.
We came when it was very busy and it took an hour and 30 minutes from sitting down to receive our plates. We were there for almost a total of 3 hours! Service was attentive but slow, understandably.
The outdoor dining was very pleasant. The kitchen was wonderful and the chef was willing to work with a food intolerance (we were told they could fry fish with just the breading and egg wash and skip the dairy). The waitress checked with the kitchen to see if any of the dishes we were interested in contained dairy. Wonderful service.

It was good. The spinach salad was my favorite part of my meal. I forgot to take a picture before I started eating it. Oops. I love that it was listed as a side! My pollack was well prepared. The scallops were delicious and not overcooked at all. The broiled shrimp were good. The steamed shrimp had an interesting, not pleasant taste. It may have been the beer they used to steam them. The mussels were bland and extra chewy. The crab cake was petite and not bad. I will visit again and try a different dish. I stopped in bc I have been wanting to try it for years. They have a wonderful mixed drink selection. I wasn’t able to try any bc I was a solo diner. I did get a dessert. They have an excellent selection of desserts, too. I forgot to take a picture of my cake slice. The inside of the building is very cozy. I like all the bare beams. I sat at little booth. I don’t recall my server’s name, but she did a fine job. I want to return for Tuesday’s wing night.

First time eating here. My husband got a few seafood items and loved the oysters and his other items. I’m not into seafood much, I got steak and it was very good. Sautéed with mushrooms and onions. We will be back!! Surprised with the low stars and reviews. Staff was amazing and so was the atmosphere and the meal! So glad we went. Our new go to. It’s hard to say that because my husband can be picky. I am too. So, we both agreed it’s worth going back. Thanks so much for a great dinner!

My husband and I ate here last night. It was just ok. Nothing special. The servings were generous and our server was excellent Kristina. We started with salad and then we shared an appetizer BC sampler. It was good. I had the seafood combination was ok. And my husband had the shrimp and crab Alfredo. He said it was ok as well.

Had a great time food was excellent. I had to drink a Blue Voodoo and for appetizer calamari very good. For lunch I had the Lunch special which had 3 scallops, 3 shrimp and lump imperial crab meat, my husband had the broiled scallops. Didn’t have room for dessert. There is a lounge for dining or the main diningroom. We sat in the lounge. The do catering and banquets. No reservations for lunch but they prefer it for dinner gets busy.
