Horrible, horrible. We went yesterday at around 9:30p. We ordered the so called grilled wings. What is the point of calling them grilled if they are fried first?? Look at the first picture, does that look like grilled? The meat was super dry. The order of fries had so much salt it was impossible to take a bite. Plus, they were insanely over cooked (just like the wings) the lady taking our order was not all there. My husband asked for a burger with no bun and extra lettuce or lettuce wrap, this lady told him he couldn’t have that because she has no way of putting that request to the kitchen. After so much back and forth she tells him that she was able to order it. I get my rubbery wings and burnt fries. Not sure if we had to ask for celery but we didn’t get anything just the bare minimum…And wasn’t until I finished eating that my husband got his “grilled” wings. According to the server because I sent the fries back they noticed the oil had to be changed and my husband’s wings were frying. We were like, what happened to grilled? And she said they fry them first. This place used to be good 10 yrs ago. It’s like a dive bar. Plus the server that we got last night was all over the place. Greeting people at the door and serving tables it’s not for anybody. Even if I was starving, I will never come here again! Waste of money. The food was disgusting.

We came to Gators in Clermont for the first time to celebrate my son’s birthday. He really wanted wings, so we wanted to give the restaurant a try. I ordered a boneless wings platter with fries and cole slaw. I ordered them with medium buffalo style. My daughter ordered a cajun flavor of some kind on her bone-in wings. Mine had absolutely no flavor. They was no sauce on them at all and they were sitting in, what appeared to be oil. The oil was only slightly buffalo flavored. My daughters were covered in a white sauce, which tasted like ranch. They had no cajun seasoning on them whatsoever. We would have asked them to fix our orders, but did not do so for 2 reasons. First, a group of at least 20 people poured in, and there was no use bothering an already overwhelmed waitress. Secondly, it was my son’s birthday, and I didn’t want to ruin his moment, because he was enjoying himself. I will never ever return to this establishment. Across the street, is a reputable restaurant with wings packed with flavor. They will have my business from now on.

Beyond disappointing. We are new to town and right down the street so we thought we would try this place since we had been to Docksides before. This one was 2 visits in one, our first and last. We sat at the bar and she filled other drinks and finally came to us. No biggie. She got our drink orders and gave menus. We waited and waited and she filled some glasses and did some drinks, walked to the back and finally came and asked if we were ready. We order. We wait and wait while she and another employee talk. Finally our order comes, a salad and 2 orders of wings, She opens all 3 to go boxes and bags them. She and the employee continue to talk and talk and talk …. We finish our drinks and wait for the check while she and the other employee talk and talk and talk and talk…….finally she comes with a check and we give her a card and get the heck out of there. She was more interested in chatting and locals than waiting on us. We won’t be back. We get home and our $17 salad consisted of 10 to 12 pieces of lettuce, a few nuts and orange slices and a bunch of chicken. I ordered it because I wanted a SALAD, so disappointed.
I will say, the Thai chili wings were the only thing good out of the entire experience but they came with no dressing, no celery, nothing that you normally get with wings.

This use to be a go to restaurant in the Clemont Fl area. Not sure what happened to the quality of the food and wings they serve. The wings must have come from cornish hens. SUPER SMALL. not worth the $17.00 for 10 wings. I asked for all flats and received 10 drumets. I’m guessing the cooks don’t know the difference. Will never be back.

Service and Atmosphere were good but the food was straight up awful. I had the cajun ranch wings which had zero cajun flavor and only tasted like ranch. My mom’s boneless wings with medium sauce tasted like barely flavored oil. Fries were unseasoned and tasted very bland. I was not at all impressed and would have rather gone to Miller’s.

I walked in and didn’t realize how big this place was. Has a full sit down bar. Booths and tables to fit the whole family comfortably, they also have large group booths. I also notice away from the dining room they have an arcade room to go play some pool and arcade games. Loved the atmosphere and the staff was super friendly.

The only thing that keeps bringing us back is they truly have the best wings around. However the service is absolutely awful every time we go in there. We stood at the hostess station and the waitress walked by twice to the register and didn’t even acknowledge we were standing there, we have been in before and with only a couple of other tables occupied waited 20 minutes before for someone came over to take our drink order. And when someone does finally come over they act like you’re an inconvenience .

Fries arrived cold so I asked for a reheat, server said no problem I’ll make you some fresh ones. 20 min go by, no fries no server in sight. 25 min a manager comes on duty and sees us looking for help. Manager…is everything ok? Us…no,no it’s not. We haven’t seen our server, we’ve now finished our food and still haven’t seen our fries. Server decides to finally show herself after seeing the manager at our table. Blamed it all on the cook. There was only 1 cook for the 8 patrons in the restaurant. Monte Cristo was good. Triple burger special was not our favorite. The bratwurst was twice the thickness of our beef patty. It’s been 8 years since my last visit. I guess I didn’t miss much
