We’re from out of town and the place was packed with 3/4 of the kiosks down. I was reasonably expecting a long wait. Could not have been more pleasantly surprised when they brought me my food almost immediately! Their staff is well trained and very friendly! Great management!!!!

We frequently visit this McDonald’s location, typically about once a week, and there are often issues with our order. While these problems are usually resolved, today’s experience was particularly disappointing. Upon opening the box, we immediately noticed the cookies were burnt. When we called to address the issue, my mom, who placed the order, spoke with the manager, Anthony.

From the start of the call, Anthony responded in an unprofessional and rude tone, even pretending he couldn’t hear her. When she explained that the cookies were inedible and that the children wouldn’t eat them, his response was, “What do you want me to do about that?”—delivered in the same dismissive manner.

As this appears to be a franchise location, there may not be much we can do directly, but this review is intended to inform others, as well as the owner, that this establishment could benefit from a change in management. Mistakes happen, but when you work in food service, you should never serve something you wouldn’t give to your own family. The fact that these cookies were visibly burnt and smelled burnt yet still served is unacceptable.

To Anthony, I suggest pursuing a role that doesn’t involve customer interaction, as your customer service skills leave much to be desired. This review is not written lightly, but it feels necessary given the circumstances. My mom is well-liked by staff at this location, which makes this interaction all the more surprising and disappointing.

Waited 30 minutes for three sandwiches, nuggets, a drink and a fry. Only to be given no drink, cold nuggets ,and the wrong burger. Another man in there waited about 30 minutes too but he only ordered two ice cream cones. Management non existent nor any work ethic amongst employees.

I don’t know who is running the kitchen at this Riverwalk Plaza location, but they clearly have a vendetta against food. I’ve given this place enough chances, and I’m officially done.

The “Flattened” Burgers Every time I order a burger here, it looks like it was used as a wheel chock for a semi-truck before being shoved into the bag. It’s not a sandwich; it’s a meat pancake. I’m pretty sure someone in the back is practicing their shot put with the Quarter Pounders because they arrive completely mangled and smashed into the wrapper.

The Fry Situation The “Large” fries are a total scam. I paid for a large and received a container that was barely a quarter of the way full. To make matters worse, they didn’t even taste fresh. They were cold, limp, and had the texture of something that’s been sitting under a heat lamp since last Tuesday. Eating them was like chewing on salty cardboard.

Technology Failures Don’t even get me started on the kiosks. Half the time, the machines refuse to take app codes. You stand there like an idiot trying to scan your phone while the staff ignores you, losing out on rewards or deals because their equipment is as outdated as their “fresh” fries.

The “Local Guide” Mystery It’s honestly hilarious looking at the recent reviews here. Almost every five-star rating comes from a “Local Guide.” How many “Local Guides” can there possibly be in Sebastian, Florida? It’s a small town, yet this place apparently has a dedicated army of them. It feels like Google or the franchise must be paying people to leave these glowing reviews to drown out the reality. No actual resident of Sebastian would look at these mangled burgers and think it’s a five-star experience. The math just doesn’t add up—it feels bought and paid for.

This location was the best one in the county, then the manager left, and now it’s just as bad as all the rest. It’s amazing to see the difference a good manager makes. The employees now don’t care about their jobs, and don’t care about the customers. Order a large fry and get a medium dumped into a large box.

This McDonald’s is normally good but for some reason today they where not having it I guess, first they didn’t fill up my Dr Pepper all the way and service just wasn’t good, the worst part… my nuggets looked like… crusty and super thin, also the fries were cold. I’ve been going to this restaurant for 12 years. The food is always excellent! My food orders are rarely incorrect. If there’s an error, it’s corrected quickly.

The employees are always professional, efficient and friendly. I don’t know how but they always manage to have a smile on their face.

For the last 3 months I’ve done mostly take out – three times per week. I really appreciate the staff because they have a very hard job. They put up with rain, wind & sun at the drive-thru window. Not only does it get busy but they have to stand on their feet most of the time & put up with all kinds of customers.

McDonalds employees, you are appreciated!! Keep up the great work. See you tomorrow!!
