Stopped by this restaurant by chance last weekend to try something other than the mainstream corporate places. What a great surprise. The staff was friendly, gave great suggestions on the menu. The service was excellent with timing of delivery on drinks, then the sizzling main course right as we finished our delicious miso soup and ginger dressing salad. I enjoyed the reasonably priced steak/ chicken breast and 6 large shrimp with veggies meal and my wife had a Salmon meal that was also delicious. The restaurant was very nice although we only sat at the bar area so I could watch a football game, but the laughter and cheers from the habachi side sounded like other guests were having a blast with their chef’s. We will definitely bring family and friends to enjoy this Jem of a restaurant located in Cheyenne in the future.

We chose not to do the hibachi and opted for regular service instead. We arrived just in time and didn’t have to wait, but we did experience a long wait for our food. It took 10 minutes for the appetizers to arrive, and then another 30 minutes for our entrees. While we understand it was a Friday night, we barely saw our waiter and ended up just handing him our card to leave. The food was decent for Cheyenne, but nothing extraordinary.

Had a 6:30 reservation on a saturday night. Finally got in at 7:10. They are glad to let you spend your money at the bar. Total bull excuse that the previous parties had not left. Just like united airlines overbooking and then making it the customer’s problem.
No apologies, no concern for customer satisfaction. I guaranty if you show up 40 minutes late for your reservation here they will turn your away. They view their time as much more valuable than yours.
After they finally seated our party of 8 I was so irritated I left the rest of the group, gave them my credit card, and told them if they left a tip of more than 10% it would have to be on them.
No point in making a reservation here. You can get in anywhere in Cheyenne in less time without a reservation. Save your money and go somewhere else.

We made reservations. Arrived ahead of time, got seated, then proceeded to wait.. after watching another party get seated, get drink order, then get there food order, we finally got our order taken, all while freezing the entire time. Cook came out, he was pretty good, and personable. We had filets and it was absolutely terrible cut of beef for the price to pay for a fillet. No refills offered. Feel like we were simply a number. This place went from being a restaurant we made it a point to eat, to being a restraunt that I will not attend again. Terrible customer service..

Great place for a real Japanese hibachi experience. I ordered the steak and shrimp and it was very well prepared. Full of authentic Japanese flavors and spices. They offer a full bar as well.

So I would first like to say it’s pretty hard to put into words just how amazing my experience was during my most recent at this Wasabi. I don’t toss around the word amazing too much, so for me to describe my experience with the word truly means something. This was my second time eating here, but I went into it treating it like it was my first time because the last time I ate here was over at least five years ago. I was blown away by everything. Everything from the food, service, and watching the chef do his thing on the hibachi grill was so great. To elaborate a little more on the food, I would like to add that the fried rice was the best and my filet mignon hit the spot. Even the strawberry lemonade tasted better than most strawberry lemonades I’ve had. To also touch base on the service as well, i would like to say every employee I talked to was really friendly, and the chef was fun and awesome to talk to. Also, it wasn’t as expensive as I thought it would be for a type of place like this. All in all, I have zero critiques or criticisms about this restaurant or about my experience here. Five stars across the board for this restaurant. I definitely will be coming here again, and I will make it a point to make it sooner rather than later.

Server was rude at 1st but by the time our meal came he started to come around. Love the way that other servers will check on you and ask how the food is. All the food was great!! From the soup and salad to the meal, everything was perfect. Pretty pricey, but we went home with leftovers that we fried up and enjoyed the next night for dinner so it was well worth it. Hubby ordered surf n turf which he loved. I do not like lobster AT ALL but whatever they did to it was amazing and tasty.

The food was good, I really liked the Hibachi Burrito. The atmosphere was so so from where we were sitting. The fish tank at the front was nice.
We were there in the middle of the day and it wasn’t busy. But we seldom saw our server.

Had a wonderful meal with friends here today. Plenty of parking available. Food was absolutely delicious and I’m so happy there’s a restaurant here that serves sweet potato sushi! It’s my favorite! The hibachi chef was a delight to watch. You get what you pay for. Can’t wait to visit again!
