The Blue Goose is a source of joy for me in my travels to visit my elderly parents. Each season is celebrated with artisan pieces for porch, table scape, yard and so much more. If you like pie, every kind. A bottle of wine? Why not? And the most amazing personal service anywhere. I love you, Blue Goose!

Love Blue Goose they have a little bit of everything and staff are friendly. I’ve never had anything bad. Cookies are great. The beef sticks are good. You can find great deals in the back left corner. They always have nice home things as well as fruit in the spring and summer. Definitely worth a stop.

I’ve been coming to a particular place for years ever since I moved to Columbus, Ohio. I make a track back home to Washington DC It’s got a nice feel about it and you always smell warm apple pie when you walk in the building.

Super cute place to buy local canned things and bakery. They have clothes and other knick knack things. Overall a very cute store and a place I would stop at again on our way to western md or WV.

First, I love the store! Each time I drive by, I stop in! However, this time I was dissatisfied! I just opened a glass of Triple Crown preserve. I saw that it had mold on top, meaning I can toss the jar in the trash! I never had mold on fruit preserves! When I opened the jar, I did hear a pop, so it appears that the jar was sealed properly.

What a neat place. They have a lot of Nick nacks you can browse. But you know me…I just stuck with the items I could eat. Delicious pies and all other kinds of baked goods. They also had some tasty looking wines. The friendly staff was very helpful. Worth stopping and even a trip of you don’t live too far away.

Whenever I come anywhere near this place We will detour to stop by. Here are absolutely some of the best baked goods around in particular the pies, and I’ve had wonderful other things as well including honey and apple butter. One of these days I’ll get around trying the maple syrup too. This last time I picked up a peach pie and it was wonderful, particularly warmed just a bit, and I highly recommend the forest fruits pie and their pecan pie as as well. I also picked up some gingerbread cookies for the kiddos and they loved them. They have a fun selection of other gift items too. I highly recommend this place as a stop if you’re passing by, everything I’ve ever tasted from there is delicious and the staff is always friendly as well.

I have passed by the Blue Goose for years in my travels as well as spending quite a bit of time camping in the nearby Green Ridge State Forest and Biking the Western Maryland and C&O Trails, however at the urging of other passengers we stopped.
I purchased some Deep Creek wines, baked goods and some candies and they were all wonderful.
The smell inside the building smelled like apples.
I had a delicious pecan sticky bun.
I do not think I will be as long for my next visit!

My go to pie place! I will drive 3 hours one way to get a pie because they are that delicious. The Blue Goose Fruit Market is easy to get to and set in a beautiful location. You will find seasonal produce and fruits. Fresh baked pies, cookies, muffins and cakes. They carry a beautiful line of home decorating items.
Everybody here is friendly and helpful. This is a must stop!

OK, paying tribute to the one- and two-star reviews, this is a tourist trap. With that said, I still like it. Unique gifts, unique eats, and friendly staff. They are catching the weary travelers with their well stocked store full of nostalgia. Stop in and see what you think. I know I found some joy.
